Its very crispy bacon covered in chocolate so theres a crunch when you bite into it. Also crispy bacon stores better then those still with fat on it.silent sniper said:

Almost hate to admit it(especially since this is my first post), but my friend and I made some chocolate covered bacon (we used 2lbs of bacon) after seeing this post.
Here is a pic of me with the bacon:
It's pretty good as long as you use really crisp bacon and of course drain as much of the grease off as possible. Adding peanut butter was also really good. Kind of like a Reese's peanut butter cup, but with bacon!
Only 2 out of the 20 people who tried the bacon didn't enjoy it.
