Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2005) - Switch Port

Thanks for this port, just beat Blacklist member 8, the game is as good as I remember! I've only encountered two issues so far:

When being caught by the police it plays a short video and in that the character models are bugged. Doesn't affect anything, just a graphical issue. Attached a screenshot below.
After playing for some time the game begins to lag and drops FPS like crazy, restarting it fixes it until it happens again after some time. Especially noticeable in heavy areas (like Camden Beach). I'm only playing docked, I also tried OC'ing some more but I don't think that makes any difference. I've also limited the FPS to 30 in the debug menu and set the "piss filter" setting to "suave".

I'm playing the German version, not sure if that makes any difference.

Careful with this.

This is an amazing project! Occasionally during gameplay, the audio suddenly becomes distorted, and there are rendering glitches on the map and HUD. Overall it’s excellent. By the way, will controller rumble support be added in future updates?

If you hear audio distortion, press the Home button a few times.

Vibration can be enabled in the Debug Menu. To open the Debug Menu, press L + R + Right (D-pad).

@T-Dawg answer that for me.

I won't make it enable by default as I hate vibration on controller specially for making tests.

@StevensND could you port underground 1?

As @StevensND secretary :rofl2:

I say that he don't take requests for ports.

BTW, It's already being developed by the author of the NFSU2 and Carbon ports.

Stay tuned for updates - NFS Underground 1 NX

How can I limit the FPS to just 30?

Open the debug menu (L+R+DPAD right), go to "Graficos" and set "nfsmw_limits_fps" to 30 and then click "Save config". Navigating the menu is a bit weird, you must press B so that you can focus different panels. You can also add

Code:

nfsmw_limite_fps = "30"

to your "/switch/nfsmw-nx/nfsmw.toml".
