Are you interested in a complete replacement of TwlBg which includes all patches?

Uninstalled TwlBg.cxi from sysmodules, disabled the external FIRMs. Game works perfectly fine in twilight menu like before i installed the patcher but my forwarded game has some serious lag, flickering and stuttering. Any idea what i might be missing to revert all changes? Game is Pokemon Black 2 on a 3DS XL

EDIT: Fixed, had to hold Y when starting my forwarded game and change the CPU speed to 133MHz, curious as to why this was not needed when i played before installing TWPatcher.

EDIT 2: Problems persist on the forwarded version, I am unable to properly see the evolution process ok pokemons, the sprite before and after evolution is missing. The animation works. Did not have this issue before and it does not happen when playing through twilight.
It's possible the forwarder is using a different build of nds-bootstrap. In TWLMenu++ Settings and the per-game settings menu (the latter which is opened by pressing Y while in the ROM listing), what is the "Bootstrap" setting set to?

It is set to Default which uses the Release version (latest release from uni updater). Running it in Default and Release produces the same results. It seems that the problems relating to the evolution glitch which i previously mentioned now also occurs when launching through Twilight menu.

So far i've tried removing _nds/nds-bootstrap, _nds/ntr-forwarder and _nds/TWiLightMenu and reinstalling those fresh. Issues persist. Kind of at a loss as to what I might be missing.
Does the patcher do any changes outside of the payload file in Luma?

The issue you're having is (I'm pretty sure) not related to the patcher, and sounds like it's caused by either a corrupt ROM or you have a screen color filter and/or DS Phat colors enabled.
Open TWLMenu++ Settings, and make sure the "Screen Color Filter" setting is set to "Default". Then open the per-game settings menu, and make sure "DS Phat Colors" is set to either "Default" or "Off".

Well now I can't help but feel like an idiot. Somewhere along the way i seem to have accidentally turned on screen filters in TWLMenu++, setting them to default solved all my issues.

Happy to know that it wasn't caused by TWPatcher.

Thank you for the help, now I can enjoy using redshift to improve the colors.

Hello, writing this as a complete newbie, but TWPatcher runs in the background in the DS mode right? Intercepting the video buffer or something like that. Is it possible to enable NTR like streaming of original DS games with this?
Streaming DS games has been impossible with actual NTR, but TWPatcher already puts filters on top in the DS mode in ARM11 architecture if im correct. Could it also wirelessly stream that video feed in the middle of its pipeline as well?

No, TWPatch runs in 3DS mode, and patches the DS/GBA mode files that run on the 3DS-side while in DS/GBA mode.
The images you see while selecting filters are just high quality screenshots (X+DPAD to cycle).

It is not possible to do it in DS mode, as DSi mode uses the same WiFi chip that is used in 3DS mode, and in DS mode, it is using the same WiFi *board*, so the signals would collide.

In GBA mode, it might be possible, but not with TWPatch. You need a full reimplementation, and also a working WiFi driver.

As for how DS/GBA video works, there is a capture card that you copy the pixels out of, and display those pixels with 3DS-mode hardware.
TWPatch only patches Nintendo's already existing code, there is nothing new added (except things like Redshift), so it's not possible to add video streaming, because no WiFi driver is included in the first place.
