I wanted to get 1.0U on a real Wii for fun. I was able to successfully install IOS9 v1 and the System Menu 1.0U wad, but the only thing that appeared was the disc channel. I've tried everything, from reinstalling the wads to installing different IOS9 revisions to copying files to /meta (which caused "The system files are corrupted" but I fixed it), but I just can't get the channels to show up on the Wii Menu. Is anyone experienced on this topic and can help me get the channels to appear on the system menu? I've seen it done before, so please help me do it myself. I have bootmii installed as boot2.
It is because 1.0 expects the channel banners to be in /meta. Copying the files to /meta won't help. I am not sure but I think u need older system channels.
