Imagine sitting there looking at your untouched Switch 2, 3 and 4 hoping for hacks
That's exactly what I'm doing. If a Switch 2 OLED comes out in a few years I'll buy and use that while letting my original Switch stay on 19.0. Buying two original Switch 2s isn't worth it and I don't want to risk missing out on hacks because I got impatient.

Personally, I'm finding it hard to find reasons why I would even hack a Switch 2 when most of the stuff I would want to do with it can be done with current devices. It was one thing with the Switch 1 when there weren't really any worthwhile alternatives.

Overclocking and cheats and save editing for Switch 2 exclusives are the main reasons to do so. Everything else as you said can be done on other devices already, especially now that the market is flooded with Switch clones.

This is a very good point iv mentioned myself, If anyone was here during the PSP hacking scene, they would remember that being able to play Nintendo console games (up to N64) on the go was almost unheard of (unless you had like a GP2X).
I find hacking in general is kind of pointless unless you want to use "backups" as so many, much cheaper alternatives can play homebrew and emulators. Hell everyone is walking around with a phone way more powerful than a psp in their pockets.

I think this summer I'll end up updating my Switch 2, still on day-1 firmware. The handheld mode boost update is quite nice.

I was planning to play backlog physical games until a hack was available, keeping my day 1 intact but giving it some use. But the boost adds some frames to those games, so it's useful.

There's chibimofo again with is erect.. control stick.
Like clock work.
Thank you for entertaining us.
Your obsession with my erections is deeply disturbing, but you're welcome nontheless. 😎

Gotta keep you entertained since you cannot play the latest Switch 2 games on your hilariously and pointlessly original firmware S2.

Well that's not true, Iv mentioned more than once i own 2.
Plus the updated one sits in the dock most the time since for me personally there isn't too much to play that i haven't already.

Online since launch. Tempted to grab a second unit and keep it offline as insurance for a future modding window, but realistically I would never use that one for actual gaming. The eShop and gameshare access wins for me right now.

I sold away my data rights to Palantir day 1 using my Switch 2, and I think it's "hilarious" that OP isn't willing to do that. I'm soooo fucking ready for Age Verification etc. let's gooooo!
