Minor Update

So I've finished translating Chapter 2 now and am playing through it to fix any typos, mistakes or any line breaks I might have missed.
I've also gone through the Bestiary and changed/edited multiple entries so the monster entries no longer go off the page and are now shorter.

This Chapter has been a big longer going in the playthrough since it's a heavily learning mage party that relies on MP (I need to warp back to town more often than I did in Chapter 1).

I am however considering waiting on Chapter 2's release once I finish playtesting so I can release it and Chapter 3 together as Chapter 1-3 are the chapters where you choose and play Ryuuga, Sofia or Hilda's routes in whichever order players prefer and I would like to give that option to players since that was the original intention of how it was meant to be played in my personal opinion.

Otherwise, if people prefer, I can release Chapter 2 (Sofia) and later release Chapter 3 once it's done being translated (as of now, I've not started it yet).

Congrats on getting chapter 1's patch out! I'm also waiting for a full patch covering the game's story, but I'm optimistic you'll be able to do this.

Update

Just a general update in which I'll be doing as of now once per week unless there's a big change or update.

As of now, Chapter 3 and 4 have been translated.

I've already gone ahead and started translating Chapter 5 of which all that's left to start doing is all the actual story/character dialogue.

Chapter 4 hasn't been uploaded yet and I remain to leave it as-is with the Prologue and Ch1 released until I've completed the entire story translation of the game.

But as of now, everything is proceeding apace and going well so far.

Update

I've finished transcribing all the words and text from every chapter and have begun translating them and formatting them to fit into the text bubbles in-game as well as possible.

Chapter 4 is still being played through for testing purposes and to make sure all the text fits and I've not made any formatting mistakes (Like forgetting to add a line break). However, as there is a route branch here, I'm not entirely sure how much I can test each and every route. We'll see how it goes as the game progresses.

Chapter 5 has been completed (though not inserted into the game files yet).
Chapter 6 is finished saved for 4 files that require editing and formatting.
Chapoter 7 has been roughly half translated but still needs heavy editing.
Chapter 8 (Post-Game) has had some work put into it and the files are translated to English but that's about it. I've not touched them any further.

Items/Monster/Skill Descriptions have been edited as I go and as they show up in the synthesis shop or my inventory so that the descriptions make sense and fit.

I will however be on break until the end of August at which point I will return and continue this project.

I have nothing new to report about my progress of the translation as of yet but will keep playing through Ch. 4 and start inserting the text for Ch. 5 in the coming days into the game~

I had the same issue. Did you ever figure out how to get the game to properly patch? I bought an import copy of the game and dumped it as a CIA with God Mode9 on a Luma CFW New 3DS and the patch wouldn't apply. Said it was the wrong file. What am I missing?

The patch being hosted on Mediafire is getting me somewhat antsy. Their data retention policy says that accounts are considered abandoned if they haven't been logged into for 8 months. Considering how often translation projects go on indefinite hiatus, I hope this patch doesn't end up as lost media.

Edit: I tried saving the page on Internet Archive, but the download itself is apparently over the Save Page Now service limit despite being smaller than 2GB. Go figure.
