I have a Switch OLED modded with Picofly RP2040.
I just use:
- OFW (launched in Hetake Menu > Reboot > OFW) for Online play.
- EmuNAND for offline play.

I don't use Custom SysNAND (SysNAND CFW) to play online with mods, transfer save files, etc.

Do I need to update OFW, EmuNAND, Hetake and Atmosphere everytime a new version comes up? Do I need to worry about the fuse burn thing if I don't use SysNAND CFW?

For example, could've I kept EmuNAND (Hetake and Atmosphere too) as old as 19.0.0, while keeping OFW always updated for Online play?

You don't have to update emunand firmware even though you can always update atmosphere and Hekate files. Sysnand ofw firmware is separate from emunand so you are okay to update Sysnand firmware.

Hi guys, very new to the switch modding community, very bad at soldering, anyone has a modding service in EU? Sorry if this isn’t allowed in the discussion…

I’ve updated to the latest FW on CFW sysMMC and CFW emuMMC using the HATS pack from sthetix. No my stock FW is on the latest. I can’t boot into CFW, get a yellow screen. Am I not able to do anything until someone works on a new Atmosphere update?

Hi everyone, Haven't looked at this for quite a while, has there been an updated version of Tinfoil or is there a different tool we can use to connect the NSW console to a USB PC and transfer/install games or apps directly with recent firmware updates ?
Thanks

So im having another problem so when i start a game and its running while i go to settings atmosphere always crashes

Is there a way to make a save container for a game that I haven't launched on my system?

sorry man, you're out of luck.
they're working on it right now, but there's no eta due to the sheer difficulty of reverse engineering the code

I have Nintendo Switch that was modded previously and I was able to sideload games using Tinfoil. Something went wrong and it won't boot.
I reformatted the SD card and followed the switch.hacks guide to copy all the required files (hekate, atomsphere) and the latest sigpatchs from this forum. I can boot into the custom firmware and can load the emMMC and the Switch OS loads. But I cannot run tinfoil after copy its .nro or self installer. It says its corrupt and needs to redownload but even redownloading doesn't work. Even when I copy game .nsp files and install them using Goldleaf, which I click on the game it says I need this software to play it. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
EDIT: my Firmware version is 19

is the last switch1 update hackable? been months and i am thinking to hack my friend switch on the last update.

You can check the status here. I'd suggest that you wait for a bit longer before updating to the latest and greatest. sys-patch now includes the homebrew crash fix on 22.x.x so some of the unofficial releases that are floating around might be already usable. However, I'd still wait for an official release before running into possible bugs still present in pre-releases.

Hi so when i go to settings and have a. Game running atmosphere always crashes here is the error code 2181-4008 (0x1f50b5)

whenever i try to update my console i get this code:
2137-7404
My switch 2 can connect to the internet fine. this only started to happen after it downloaded the tomodachi update data.
what should I do? I know i'm not banned but this is incredibly frustrating and i want to update to the newest firmware.

i'm so confused i just don't want to be unable to mod my switch 1's tomodachi life

EDIT: It may just be my internet. Don't really know how my switch 2 is so flawlessly connected on that note

Hi Everyone,
First time approaching to mod switch.

I just did the mod chip installation yesterday by myself on my old (but fully working) switch lite, and everything went smooth!

I follwed step by step this guide:
https://switch.hacks.guide/user_guide/modchip/preparing_hekate

I was able to boot to CFW emuMMC 22.0 and AMS 1.11.0. Hombrew running correctly, I'm able to transfer file trough FTPD, use Goldleaf, etc...

Then I've installed the latest Sigpatches and sys-module, Here's the links:

In my windows PC I just did copy/paste/replace on the SDCARD for both zip packages content.

NOW the issue:

I'm' trying to install with Goldleaf any games NSP and I got the error:. 2356-0009 Invalid NSP (all the NSP I have are games spliced with NSP Splitty).
I've tried to remove strange character from NSP name, and all the suggestions you find online, nothing.

If I try to install TINFOIL NSP, it installs correctly but when I launch it it force closed with some generic error.

I'm new to Switch Mod but Really I've trying everything I could and read everything I can! I'm getting stucked right now and I don't know how to proceed!

Maybe I downloaded the wrong sigpatches package for FW 22?
Maybe I shouldn't use NSP Splitty? But how to split 4+gb games? (bakup of games I own)
Why even tinfoil refuses to run?

Really looking forward to your help.

Thanks a lot,
HS

update:
I reset the router and this is istill happening.
is something wrong with my switch 1's ability to connect to the internet at all? Should I install the firmware update via other means? Please help.

Some game carts aren't showing up too. (they're loading circles)
I'm not sure what to do

and is it safe to boot ofw to see if it's just beacuse i'm using cfw? Can i b oot back into hekate from that?
This is happening to my roommate's switch too.

UPDATE 2:
DOWNLOADING the 22.0.0 firmware and installing via daybreak fixed the issue! I was dreadfully worried that'd complicate things somehow, but it's working fine now. Still can't connect to the server to check if my console is up to date anymore but all games, updates, etc are working fine now.

I was genuinely scared i screwed up my console somehow. ;; In general it doesn't stay good with my internet in comparison to my switch2 but.... this was kinda ridiculous
