HELP!!!

I need write this to save the profile for input controller, because i changed to play Alien Trilogy very great, but in other games, the profile changed is same and unplayable, then i need reset to default input, but when back to Alien Trilogy, i need to reconfigure the input again... and vice-versa. It's very boring.

The problem is: this version don't able to show the keyboard on the screen to write a name and saving the custom profile. I tried using my USB wireless keyboard that works on my Switch, but inside DuckStation, not work. Nothing happens with this field, i tried all. I think this version not supoort keyboard or don't show the Switch's virtual keyboard. See the photo above:

How to activate rumble/vibration?

Vibration works if it is set to the "Analog Controller" option, as vibration works very well there. If it doesn't vibrate, you must have turned off vibration in your console's settings. And also if you choose the "Digital Controller" option, the vibration does not work, as the first PS1 controller did not have vibration.

How to make sure vibration is on in console and Duckstation settings? My controller vibrates, but it does not vibrate in Duckstation with Analog Controller option.

Have you done anything in particular within DuckStations settings?

Anyone have any recommended settings for performance or visuals? Not 100% on whether I wanna use higher quality or a crt look, but nothing is really sticking with me while messing around at the moment.

I simply didn't do anything to activate the vibration, I just selected for Analog Controller that the vibration is on. And there is another detail that you can check, it is in the Vibration Bias option, so by default it is at 8 (and this vibrates normally for me), so increase the value to intensify the vibration, if the current value doesn't feel anything.

And there are also other factors that may prevent it from vibrating for you:

- You are possibly using an unofficial controller. (I tested my originals and 8bitdo's Ultimate and they work normally, I didn't test the joycons. I'll try with the joycons later).
- You are running a game that does not have vibration, this is very likely, as there are games that do not have vibration.
- And if so, check the game options to activate vibration.
- You may be using an old version of DuckStation. I'm using pre-release version 2.

Yeah I just find it extremely strange that it won't work for me I set the vibration bias to the max and I tried every value in between as well and to answer you're question I'm using an official pro controller that rumbles in other software like N64 - NSO so I don't think that would be the issue plus I don't think it's because the games I play just don't have rumble because I've tried with the metal gear solid vibration test menu and even that didn't work the funny thing is I tried the pcsx rearmed core in retroarch and that rumbles perfectly fine during the metal gear solid vibration test and yeah I'm also using the pre release version 2 I mean it doesn't really bother me it's just rumble I can live without it I just find it strange

Hmm... you tried other games with vibration??

Other sugestion is to try using Retroarch with core duckstation.nro selected and test. I only tested with DuckStation app via applet.
