I am currently dumping all my retail games so I can make backups, and I stumbled across this title while dumping Wii Play:

Interesting they call it a "Party Pack" for the code name "Revolution". I guess this means the game was developed years ago when Nintendo hadn't decided on the 'Wii' name. of course they updated the menu's with Wii Play, but the disc ID seems to have stayed the same.

Has anyone else come across some interesting game ID's?

ps. party pack would have been better name than "wii play" imo.

See that hole in your wall?
Wii Sports is called SPORTS PACK for REVOLUTION. There's a couple of other odd ones too on both Wii and Gamecube.

You can use this little tool I made a while back to look at the info on any GC or Wii game:

I was just about to post that Wii Sports is actually SPORTS PACK for REVOLUTION. Samutz beat me to it.

I wonder if Wii Fit will be called "FAT CAMP for REVOLUTION" [IMG] [IMG]

A "Party Pack" is what is known in community pharmacies in the UK as a free pack containing needles and condoms for disease ridden drug addicts.

Shame they changed it really, would have given me a laugh!

I know they got lazy with Medal of Honor, Call of Duty and Avatar: "MOH5", "COD3 UK" and "Avatar 06" respectively (PAL versions).
