Pokemon Error For all Pokemon Games

I’ve recently modded my dsi and when I try to play any Pokemon game an error comes up I’ve it only happens when I save the game. I’ve tried replacing the rom, remodding my dsi, deleting the save file, turning the WiFi on and off but nothing works. I’m confused because I thought you didn’t need WiFi to play these games if anyone has a solution that would be appreciated!

Are you a flashcart or TWilightMenu? Either way, better check the sd card with h2testw for errors, it's most likely the culprit.

It said there were no tested errors on the sd card is there something with the system that’s wrong?

Yes, the WiFi card inside the console is not seated correctly. You'll need to take apart the console, in order to reseat the WiFi card.

Did you empty the sd card before testing it? You chose the "read & write" option before starting the test?

So wifi doesn't work in your unit? You didn't make it in your post even when you said: "turning the WiFi on and off but nothing works" which could be interpreted as:
- turning wifi on & off didn't fix the problem you're having.
- turning wifi on & off didn't make the wifi work in your unit.. And this is what i initially understood from your post.

Anyhow, if you tested the sdcard as i described, it could be a hardware issue, though not sure if it's the wifi chip or not. Still haven't told us if you're using a flashcart or TWilightMenu...

They might be referring to the "WiFi" setting in TWLMenu++ Settings.

Considering the error they're getting (which is the "Communication error occurred" message appearing when trying to load save data), it does not matter what's being used to launch the game.
