Homebrew GBA Releasing a game for retro platforms including the GBA. Should I release all versions at once, or release the GBA version first?

Over the past week, I've worked on, and finished a game that will be released for the GBA. Here's some pics of it:

It's supposed to be a remake of an old 70's electronic game from Mattel called "Auto Race", which has had it's patents expired for almost 30 years now. Here's a video of it here:

I do intend to make a version of this game for the Game Boy, DS, and PSP. For the Game Boy version, I also intend on finding a publisher to sell it in the future. Doing these versions is not the hard part for me, but how I would release them is the issue.

One part of me is saying that it would be great to wait until all versions are released, and another is telling me to release the GBA version first so that people can give feedback that may or may not be needed for the other versions of the game. My question is what you guys think would be the right decision. Should I wait until all versions are done, or release one by one.?

Too much red going on. At least use a brighter color for the text. Release the GBA demo first so we can give input on what we like/don't like, before you start coding for other systems.

Incub8 Games is a great publisher for selling your Gameboy games, you should email them and see what they can do for you.

I've hear of Incube8, and while I am confident in getting the Game Boy version of my game published, I'm not too confident as well. Incube8 seems to only publish GB games that are a bit higher quality than mine tbh.

I have decided to upload a small portion of my game on here for any feedback. Keep in mind that there are two game modes in the actual game, but since is for demo purposes, I have uploaded a version that only contains the arcade version.

To play the game, all you need to do is avoid other vehicles in traffic until you reach the top of the screen, completing a lap. In total, there are 4 laps to complete. Press the up and down button to speed up or down, and press left and right to move left and right.

I made much of the game red due to the original electronic handheld it's based off of being mainly red graphics.

Hope there's a Nintendo VirtualBoy version on the works... The shared images resemble it perfectly!

Funnily enough, I used the Virtual Boy palette to give the colors the backgrounds have.

I don't want to be a party pooper and I don't want to discourage you, but I fear such crude and primitive games aren't much appreciated by today's demanding palates, not even by middle-aged nostalgics like myself, who would perhaps give them a fleeting glance and then forget once and for all.
The fact that there isn't even a "like"(now that I'm writing) for this thread is already significant.
I think unfortunately it won't sell well, but I could be wrong. Maybe if it was part of a compilation of games from the same years.... 😉
