Greetings everyone

I've recently bought some used black Wii Nunchuks for my Wii U, the outer shell looks exactly like an original, but when opened them I noticed the motherboards are different. I tried searching for any documentation on Nunchuk motherboards, any mention of an existing revision or list of different ones but had no luck...

Here's some pics of the three I have:

When searching online for original motherboards I could only find photos confirming this one model is original, which looks different from the ones I have:

I'd be grateful if anyone can help me figure out if these are original or not.

Many boards exist, I can only tell one to be genuine is with Japanese characters 白/黒 for the sub-board:

They look like their Chinese counterparts but are unique and only used in Japanese.

I'd be willing to say it is legit. The board looks like your typical Nintendo board, has markings for all of the parts, test points, the black stamp, have a look at a GBA SP board or something else around that time that Nintendo made and you'll see what I mean.

I would say the top image is a later revision board as it removes solder points for parts that Nintendo evidently didn't end up using.

That being said, I'm definitely no expert of nunchuks but I'd be willing to bet that is legit.

Thanks everyone, I will keep believing all the ones I got are original, despite their differences. Wish this had been documented at some point by someone. More people will eventually go through the same hurdle as more and more Wii / Wii U parts become scarce and knock-off replacements flood the market.
