First, your 3ds needs to have cfw installed, if you don't have it then you're out of luck.

Where did you place the save file? Since you're using the Android version, look for the save folder, you should place the save there. Im not if it should be named the same exactly as the rom file, but it's worth trying.

I put these files.dat on the yo Kai watch files then sdmc until I found a files called data
