The secret door password is apparently created by a combination of the game and your DS, therefore a password which works on one DS will NOT work on another.

Kind of the same as WiFi settings; a combination of the game and the DS.

So how will the 2nd game know what the password is

I'm confused now ? unless you need 2 DS's to transfer the encryption key over to unlock the password on the first prof layton to then show you so you have to enter it manually ???

I'm fairly sure the second game uses your DS to make the password, and then the first game uses your DS in the same way to work out what password you need to enter.

And so your wrong

I wouldnt have minded if you had at least come up with a feasable reason

Has anyone tried downloading the weekly puzzle?

Yes, I have them all, so far ... BTW, they are not such much downloaded, as they are unlocked.

All the puzzles are already there, connecting to the server merely unlocks them one at a time, each week.

With the right hacks or codes, they can all be unlocked, straight away.

Do you happen to have the hacks or codes you mention? I'm interested in getting the puzzles all at one time, because waiting half a year is kinda long.

Rayder's cheat database has the code to do what you want, but does anybody knows how to use it? Do you have to connect to WFC for the code to work? I can't connect to WFC here

I am too already addicted to this... really... I feel proud I didnt have to use walkthroughs although I did get owned by a friend of mine when she solved a simple riddle I couldnt in one minute... without even knowing xD

apart from that the game is awesome.. the photography, the scenery, the plot and ffs the music and the voice overs are insanely good! Thank god this game is going to be a trilogy!!! not that I am close to finishing the first one
