Hi everyone! Well, as many of you know, there are some sysdvr patches that allows you to take photos and videos on games that didn't support that function. But with the new update, those patches don't work anymore. Does anybody know a workaround for this? I really use the video and photo option on many games that don't support it. Thank you!

I would like to manually match the play activity of my OFW account to my CFW fake-linked account using linkalho. I know it's possible to edit the NX Activity log config to achieve this, but I would prefer using the default play activity screen.
Using DBI I noticed that it tracks the entire activity log of the user so I'm assuming that this play time is stored in the console itself rather than on my emuMMC, so I guess my question would be how would I go about manually editing the play activity that is stored in my user profile? Is it even possible?
And if this doesn't work, could there be a way to speed up the Switch's internal clock to quickly add hours to play activity rather than idling in a game for hours? Seems desperate (I am :D) but I like keeping track of the time I have spent on these games and would rather use the play activity screen as I did on OFW and to continue from the amount of hours I left off at or at least similar hours.

I could really do with some help. Keep running into an error after partitioning emummc: " a fatal error occurred when running fusee. failed to open sdmc:/atmosphere/package3!

I've gone into the Hekate.ini file and the atmosphere/package 3 line is in there. I saw on github it says to make sure you are updating fusee as fusee primary no longer exists. I downloaded the most recent fusee.bin file from there but i'm thinking maybe thats not how you update it?

I also dont have the CFW (emummc) option in launch or the fusee option. These were both there when i first did it (I messed up something further down the line trying to load sys clk OC and decided to do a fresh install because i was a bit lost)

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks.

"The Software Was Closed Because An Error Occurred" But only with homebrew titles.

I mostly use Tinfoil but have installed several official titles over USB with NS Uploader 7 on Linux and Tinleaf on the Switch, all of these have run fine first time.
However, with homebrew titles installed the same way (so far Tomb Raider, Retroarch, Solarus Engine) each and every one fails to run and I get the same message, "The Software Was Closed Because An Error Occurred".
The only cases of this I've found so far are of it happening at random to all titles, not just homebrew. I've tried reinstalling each one but this doesn't help and I'm getting out of my depth here can anyone help please?

Hi, I have a switch manufactured prior to 2018, but its firmware is updated to current. I'm only looking to use the ram editor for game genie like editing of item # in an already saved game (totk obviously) but want to avoid bricking my switch. Does this still have the potential to cause irreparable harm simply using it for stated purpose?
Its hard to brick a Switch even when its hacked. So its highly unlikely you will cause irreparable damage by using a RAM editor. Just make a backup of your eMMC once you hack it and you can recover from 99% of all bricks.
My hekate gives the error pkg1 is unknown. It says HOS not supported or emummc corrupted. I am on the latest atmosphere, hekate, and firmware. I already tried formatting and re-doing the files. How do I fix this?
How is your SD card formatted? Also have you tried deleting all of the files and downloading the newest files from their respective GitHub pages? This is the one for Atmosphere and here is the page for Hekate.
I am unable to update Atmosphere. I am stuck on 1.5.2 I would like to be on 1.5.3. Downloading the 1.5.3 zip...and dropping the folders ATMOSPHERE and SWITCH plus the hbmenu.nro file to the switches SD root does not work. I try using the fusee.bin from the 1.5.3 release and I get an error. If I send the OLD 1.5.2 with webFusee it loads to Atmosphere 1.5.2 What am I doing wrong?
You have to delete the old /atmosphere folder then put the new one on the SD card. Atmosphere doesn't support dragging and dropping the files when updating the CFW.
my switch is mariko with shallowsea. previosly i use the shallowsea updater to update the shallowsea and it failed.
later on i do it manually and now my switch can run as normal. but errors that need press start to restart always happen. how can i remove shallowsea and just use pure atmos? thanks
Shallowsea is probably just the bare minimum files needed for using Hekate so if you don't boot Atmosphere using Hekate, you won't be using Shallowsea anymore. Which means you will have to boot Atmosphere using fusee instead of Hekate.

As far as I'm aware, there is no known way of modifying the play activity of games without using NX-Activity-Log.

But do you have a file called package3 inside your Atmosphere folder?

I would highly recommend reinstalling them with TinWoo Installer. Its what I personally use and I never have any issues while using it.

Thank you very much for your reply. I do yes. I also noticed that when I first loaded up Hekate it gave me the following error: failed to load GUI resources/ res.pak not found or corrupted. Even though res.pak is in the SYS folder contained inside the bootloader folder. Wondering if this might be a problem with the SD card perhaps?

I went into more detail in this post here. If it helps. https://gbatemp.net/threads/a-serie...ng-to-load-hekate-and-boot-atmosphere.633660/

depends if you hid your emunand or not. if not, I have actually done this before, copied all the files from one card onto another and started gaming again. OR if you aren't using emunand, I assume this will work also.

Seems I don't have an emunand setup, when i boot the switch with hekate, i always pick the syscfw option, is it safe then right?

Is there some ways to make turbo fire buttons with the switch pro controller (switch hacked if it helps) ?
LIke I keep holding A and the game keep thinking I'm pressing A a lot.
Could be usefull when grinding in some games.

Can someone share with me all of the different glitch modchips, how they differ, and all the different firmwares that you can flash to them? I'm having a /very/ hard time finding all this documented anywhere. Thank you.

Yes, you can just copy the contents over to a new SD Card. Make sure they are formatted the same was (exfat/fat32/etc). One thing to note, nobody recommends using CFW on the system nand. It can be done. But if you don't play it safe, you can get banned much easier than on emunand. You don't have to partition your SD Card for emunand. You can do a file based approach. This is what I do.

A while ago i asked for a up to date guide to upgrade my CFW firmware (horizon) to the latest version.

Someone suggested https://rentry.org/UpdateCFW and it took me until today to start doing the process, but this section (from what i can see at least) only explains how to update atmo/hekate + sigpatches, not horizon OS. Can anyone guide me to the right direction please?

Thanks!
