I have two flash drives for my 360: A 256GB for games and a 64GB for saves.

So I was wondering what cluster size to use for each to get the fastest read speed for my 256GB and what cluster size to use for my 64GB to get the fastest write speed .
The system itself formats them to 32KB but I was wondering if 64KB would speed up either one.

Larger cluster sizes are in general slightly faster. Probably won't notice a difference between 32K and 64K though.

Generally larger cluster have faster boot time but it also take up more space per file.

I am more interested in speed than size used.

Also the 360, when it installs games to USB it splits files into 162MB chunks .

Edit: An easy way (by someone on stack exchange) to see what cluster size the USB uses. Simply create a new empty text file an look at the "size on disk". It seems the 360 did in fact format the 256GB to 64KB clusters.
