textnow? What? If I want to call US numbers I can just use Google Hangouts, it's literally free to call US/CA numbers from anywhere in the world:P Also, Google's phone won't do a thing, it's not Google Support, just Google.

Yup, good times, too bad once 2010 came around they realized the trick was known so it was patched out by the revised web UI. It was meant as a way to run tests on the wifi to make sure it works without having to bother with generating a login to try, but one of the people here working in IT leaked it and people abused the fuck out of it lol
tfw the neighbor's wifi you are stealing from keeps giving DNS errors so you want his power to go out for it to reset & there's a blackout:D

They are basically the same thing, soft and hard resets, only difference is that hard reset drops all data packets currently being transferred and requests new ones, while soft reset retains them and resumes transfer once back on (which can make problems caused by faulty/broken/corrupted packets to not go away). 99% of issues are fixed with either though so doesn't really matter:P

Like I said, I've never had anything resume a connection after soft resetting the router. Every connection is immediately dropped on reset and everything has to start over.

I don't mean connection, I mean whatever bytes were being transferred. Connections are remade either way, but in soft-reset packets stay in the router's internal memory (since power isn't lost, they remain in there, as it's programmed to never drop them). I'm talking about just 1-2 corrupted bytes or something that tiny. I've had issues caused by such a thing, which is why I mentioned it.

For now I have some 9 star practice runs like Lance Muck and the Maul, Lance Xeno'jiiva, Lance Nergigante (first time lancing the last two), then LS The White Winds of the New World (planning to do this with most of the weapons I play so GS/Lance/HBG/GL/DBs and perhaps LBG), but got no ideas as to what else I should do besides Sapphire Star's Guidance...
    Saw a 10 cent coin on the ground, didn't feel like picking it up, went to the store, was 10 cents shorts, that irony...;~;

Also - actually telling the person at the register that I think they charged me the wrong price usually just ends in embarrassment for me, when it turns out I misremembered the price or the price was for another (very similar) product.

But on at least 2 or 3 occasions, I have spotted mispriced items on my receipt, and gotten money back. It's not much money, but like you say every euro saved matters, and I'm always broke as it is. Also, sometimes it turns out something was not as cheap as you thought it was, which can mean a difference of maybe €10, if the product was expensive to begin with. I can't afford that shit.

Same here and I find it easier to have the calculator on my phone which has a log of each thing I added, making it easier to tell what was charged correctly and what wasn't. And as I originally mentioned, it also helps with not going over my budget by even a cent:P
In a bit over 11 days I'll have been playing Monster Hunter for 15 whole years... DAMN I've been a fan so long it's hard to even believe it!

That's pretty cool. Which one is your favorite? And what did you think of World? That is the only one I ever gave a fair shake.

Can't pick favorite since there are two, both MHP3rd and MH3U are by far the best in my opinion, even if there's no online multiplayer in their portable versions (P3rd on PS3 and 3U on WiiU have online while PSP P3rd and 3DS 3U are only local), each for it's own reasons, but also because they have actual content without making broken artificial difficulty mons like Apex/Hyper/etc..

Harder quests were simply smarter AI, more randomness in quests (eg: Warning mons showing up more often on higher ranks), P3rd had actual Japanese dub in plenty of places and sound effects were amazing (eg: eating a steak the character would say "umai"), both had really nice selection of monsters and that's on top of 3rd Gen finally having Lv3 charges for GS (GS Main), so overall great!

I'm not talking as in in-game bonuses you scanned to your save file or something, I mean a tiny game that literally gave you extra things when doing a new game if you bought the more expensive packs and they cost a bit more for the same amount of food! Also yeah, WHY? I never got that really, what happened to keeping things in their own industries?:/

She was the one I sacrificed everything I had at the time for only for her to cheat on me, disappoint me, betray my trust & start my depression & all problems in my life. Lost a year of Uni for her sake, depression caused both most of my pre-existing conditions to worsen along with getting brain tumor in the part that controls emotions so now I can't feel happy no matter what, yet I can't help but love her still

Tick "remember me". It's a PHP standard that sessions expire after 15 min. What "remember me" does is save your session to a cookie. I don't know if there's a setting to change the PHP session expiry, but in any case 15 min is the default and people rarely bother to change PHP defaults.

And it is indeed an important security feature since anyone can use your session ID to get access to your account especially if you're not on https and someone is sniffing your traffic.
But it's not something people specifically implement. You actually have to add extra code for "remember me" for that not to happen.

That's the thing, there's no "remember me" for "security reasons" so once it kicks you out you have to manually reconnect and all, but on that specific site I have to use for Uni applications any work done in one session is automatically discarded as soon as you get kicked out. As for security, logging in over and over is more risky if someone is sniffing your traffic.
So depressed and life's so shitty I ended up sleeping for 19+ hours straight because I have literally no motivation whatsoever left in me...

Don't want to bother with adblockers, but I do have NoScript for security reasons since sometimes I go on some websites that aren't that trustworthy really so block most stuff before I access. Has saved me from a crapton of potential security threats and made browsing much faster. Why do companies think bloating websites with data collection BS is even good?
