    I hated books since I got forced to read 8 books in 2nd grade.
    That took away my interest, after that felt forced instead of feeling exciting.

    Apollo is also called Helios (solar) or Phebos (luminous) thus symbolizing the sun and light, while Lucifer is the Lord of darkness par excellence, thus the opposite. Difficult to get them associated. Instead Hekate (Lady of demons) goddess of necromancy (recalling alchemy) might correspond to that Lucifer with breasts.

    …deliver any valuable data. The grass and the way in front of you would visible in horizontal orientation – while the beautiful background image would expand to the left and to the right.

    We can register picture information from left → right very fast. We can look left/right with our eyes almost instantly, but registering information from up to down takes more time and head movement rather than only eye movement.

    Guess why TVs are 16:9 nowadays and not 9:16! Even a ratio above 2:1 doesn’t make trouble for watching (cinema ultra widescreen ≈ 21:9). Only people using phones take photos and videos needlessly in vertical orientation (sometimes there are reasons for choosing this).

    We even learned a bit about photography in school. No idea if they still do this.

    What smartphones have done to society saddens me.
    The technology as such is good and carries a lot of opportunities. In practice it is (ab)used for nonsense or even malicious purposes.

    All the mesmerized zombies wandering around aimlessly staring at their screens – occasionally bumping into lampposts, traffic signs or even into me. They wouldn’t even notice the lake you mentioned… until they step into the water.
