    That has worked, but now how do I make said thing into a shortcut? Pressing Alt and putting it onto the desktop just moves the window.

    You'll want to make a .desktop file that points to "EmuHawk Mono.sh". If you don't know how to do that and your distro doesn't have a built-in shortcut creator, you can try the "Desktop Files Creator" from Flathub.

    I swear, Nintendo can be the best company ever with how they listen to their fans to add a whole ass prototype section to their museum and such, but then they immediately take down the alternate Switch emulator that was next to Yuzu for being popular. Still beter than the likes of Xbox and Playstation but DAMN, we might aswell cut our necks because emulation has gone down hill this year.

    I see NIntendo has perfectly weighed honestly in terms of bad things and good things that they've done. They've brought an RPG Paper Mario, brand new Mario and Luigi after 2019's BiS remake, brings Starfy onto the Switch, and the museum being one of the best additions to their company as a whole

    It seems like the battle between Nintendo and Sony had a positive impact. Sony lost by continually disappointing fans with the PS5 Pro and pushing Concord. While Nintendo, although they have been criticized for taking down emulators and mods for all the wrong reasons, has also done some excellent things, owing to the Switch's high sales and success.     People need to stop with the DMCA jokes. Even if everything is predicatable by Nintendo to this day just like how y'all are made predictable, then adding unnecessary drama to an action Nintendo makes is just stupid. I don't like Nintendo for doing things but it's at this point that everyone will say Nintendo might as well DMCA m comment about this.

    A lot of reasons I don't know, but the main reason is because Discord makes stupid decisions (25MB for non Nitro to now 10MB to upload stuff), and groomers love using discord

    In the back of my mind, I've always wished to know from someone how its like to browsethe internet without using any form of ad blocking, with the inclusion of disabling any defender related software on a Windows PC.

    Don't. I'm still having nightmares since I've done it, and it wasn't even done by choice.

    The ads are loud, obnoxious, repetitive, and brain-rotting. I still want unhear juice, the unskippable ad has a really catchy tune with brain-rotting lyrics, and I want it out of my head.

    I'm serious. Please, keep ads blocked :cry:

    Damn, I remember when Consoles used to be unique and such. Now you got these companies trying to be the best of the best, trying to give you the most ultra realistic 120fps 8k gaming experience and such for the high price of a whole ass fortune, you might aswell sell your entire house for you to be homeless to have yourself a PS5 Pro.

    @Quore Maybe for Sony and Microsoft, but Nintendo? Hell nah - they focused way too much on casuals with the abrupt shift to motion controls and the tacked-on support of the Classic Controller. The GameCube was a much more playable platform, and they rectified this error with the Wii U by making traditional controls the standard once more.

    I've never liked the Wii, and I never will, as I've never been able to get its gimmicky controls to work properly. Not once. If the Classic Controller had been a mandatory backup, then I wouldn't have minded it so much, but it's barely supported, with the vast majority of games relying on aggravating waggle and pointing.

    Why do people desire to emulate switch games on their mobile device? I'm not comprehending the purpose of it, and for a switch game can be held and docked to a monitor for a larger screen. Meanwhile, with your phone you only get the handheld screen, unless you have a device like a phone that can do docked, you cannot do this to a monitor for said emulator to recognize that it's being played on monitor.

    I could understand it if Switch performance on Android was better. As it stands...I'd rather play on the worse screen with the lame JoyCons at an acceptable framerate, than on Android with shader cache jank. One day, though...

    I happily play Switch games on Android, albeit on a gaming handheld and not a phone though. I just like it because it’s a smaller footprint than a Switch, and is more of an all in one solution.

    It can’t play everything, but it can manage damn near 90% of what I’ve thrown at it. Decent enough for me.

    After a while of using it...I really don't understand the whole concept surrounding rbe DeX. Yeah it's awesome to use your phone that can be also used as a PC, but once you actually use it... a lot of incompatibility rises due to the developers not considering to use DeX on their minds. It's a feature exclusive to Samsung PCs and it honestly feels sad that it doesn't get improved on.

    Like come on, I can't even use Dolphin or Citra and such to play the games because they aren't optimized to run on DeX. I seriously want to just get a free Galaxy Z fold so I can see and know how it feels to use MyBoy and other emulators on there. But for now, we're still playing Retro games on The Ultra

    why did they merge Riiconnect24 with Wiilink? They should've kept the services together because I'm starting to believe that my Modded Family Edition WIi is permanently ruined with channels due to the merge not working as properly as they should

    Both projects were more or less, the same thing. If you're having issues with the service, see the Troubleshooting Guide on the Official WiiLink website. If your problem isn't listed there, use one of the #support channels on the Official WiiLink Discord.

    Can't believe college has fully taken me over. It's going alright but having Hybrid classes when I originally didn't know the definition of it made me feel on my toes and I haven't experienced all of my classes yet. I'm already having trouble with Physics!!
