Anyone have Tiger 10 or Grand Slam working with Motion Plus on their softmodded Wii's yet?

Any news? How do they handle? What version of Wii are you playing them on?
Anyone have feedback on how Motion Plus impacts gameplay?

been playing tiger 2010 a few hours this afternoon. got 2 WMP from eb at lunchtime. you can totally feel the improved accuracy and sensitivity of the wand now.
even small movement feels like it is being considered. you really have to crank it to get a 100% power drive and precision putting is really fun and very accurate.

be sure to select advanced swing settings and manual draw/fade for the best experience with wmp

i have not tried virtua tennis or slam tennis yet! disc golf is just another game altogether!

What are you using to load these?

Just curious what is Version Number? What loader your using? What CIOS are you using?

Thanks.

Sick Wario, this is maybe off topic, but how do you put top/back spin on the ball with the advanced swing settings? Is it just based on how you hit it? The game mentions in the beginning that you hold the d-pad and shake, but then later it implies that you can't do that with the advanced controls. I'm loving the game, but that's the one thing I haven't really figured out.

The MotionPlus games work with any setup that works with any other games. There's nothing special about them.

This is done with a twist of the wrist. If you twist your wrist to the right I think it is forward spin, to the left back spin.

I saw that in the video demo of the game.

Has anyone tried this on the older CIOS? I haven't updated to the newest one, and just wanted to see, I may try this game tonight if the baby lets me and want to see what issues I should look out for. Hopefully none.

No, opening or closing the face of the club like that is for fading and drawing, and works fantastically. It appears that this game has removed the old top/back spin control in favour of more realistic spin effects brought on by club choice and shot type. And I could swear that if you swing like you would in real life to put that little extra bit of spin on the ball, the game knows it.

I think it's just that the spin effects are toned down significantly this year (i.e. no on-command 20+ yard backspins with a wood into the green).

From my experience, Grand Chelem Tennis isn't bad at all.
The game is quite difficult and some skill are needed to beat it
but the pleasure is there.

WM+ Control are a plus, not perfect but quite good.
Wii "simple" control works great but it's based on real timing, you need some experience to get it work perfectly.

Now i'm waitin for VT09 PAL to give my opinion on it.

I've play Virtua Tennis without the WMotion Plus and after 1h, i've enable the WM+... it's day and night!!!

The WM+ working great and it's amazing!!!

I'm not a big fan of golf, but I will rent Tiger Wood and see how the WM+ is working with golf game!

looking forward to giving VT, TW and GST a proper test my my WM+ this evening. Only got it this morning.

Personally I think GST and TW are good games even without WM+ so it should be great with it.

One question - is everyone's 'usb type' connector on the WM+ looser than you thought it'd be ?

from what I've read you just connect it to wiimote and, if done once the game has already started, a message comes up on the screen saying it's been detected.
