QUOTEEurope isn't getting Fatal Frame IV, and neither is North America. That's the end of that discussion, right? Not according to a very vocal fan group...one that is attempting to create a patch for the Japanese game. This patch would actually translate Fatal Frame IV on the fly via SD card.

This sounds like a pretty ambitious project...and one that Nintendo will squash any moment now. Will the Big N end up smashing their hammer into this one, or are they going to let it slide, much like they do with the Mother series?

Well, as far as I am concerned, it's open season for translating any game that never had an English or other language release. Nintendo in my opinion has no business doing anything to stop them. But you'd think that games popular enough to be hacked into and translated would inspire them to think the game would sell enough to make them money. That shocks me, but clearly they only do whatever they feel like doing. The Mother 3 translation is a perfect example.

I'm looking forward to this.
Maybe they are just calling it out in hopes they won't have to do anything and they'll make a US and EUR release xD

Looking forward to the release of this translated game. It's too bad, they decided not to release this game to the US D: I've been a fan of the Fatal Frame series.

What makes you think that?

It takes time you know.

Sorry if I sounded like a noob asking for "Hombrewz"... I know it takes time, I just wanted to make sure that this Translation (that I'm anticipating) is not dead..
