You don't need "un-hack", it could be dangerous if you don't know what are you doing.

if you want to backup your games you can use the NX-Dump Tool or DBI in MTP mode you can "copy" a installed game to your PC on NSP format.

read guides for understand what is to "Hack" a switch and you will understand what you need.

are the best guides.

by the way ALWAYS START BY TAKING A SYSNAND BACKUP you need it in order to have a point to return in case you get a brick.
I write here what i plan to do on switch in next week. If i understound correctly.
Backup game saves with jksv
Backup nsp with DBI
Remove all installed games and tinfoil to make room
Backup sysnad and Keys in hekate.
Format SD CARD and start from scratch with rentry guide.
Will be good? Its little complicated to almost unhack switch. Compare to ps Vita or old Nintendo 3ds. But i think i May done this

That sound like a good plan, read the guides first and you will become familiar with the terms and principles, they are easy but if you don't know the bases you can make a mess.

If it still says bad data after re-downloading, it's very unlikely that you'd get a corrupted file twice, and even less likely that the actual file on GitHub is corrupted. We could troubleshoot this, but since there are other save editors to try, I sugest trying them before spending time working on this one.

This is the best saved editor though.

I tried re-downloading but same error occurs
it says "software is closed because of an error occured"

On the instruction I noticed under compile this:

  • Use LibNX. Needs SDL2, SDL2_ttf, SDL2_gfx and SDL2_image.
Could that be the problem here and how do I fix it?

Are your sigpatches up to date?

Are you compiling from source or are you downloading the .nro file from the Releases page? If you're just getting the release, that part of the instructions doesn't matter.

Hi, can somebody help me about Reverse NX? i have installed ReverseNX and SaltyNX and i change the profile of my game from system to docked but sysclocked is still detecting that the game is still in handheld mode. did i forgot something to install? or did i do it wrong? thank you.

Yes. Just extract the zipped file and copy its contents to the root of your SD card, confirming any requests to merge folders or overwrite files.

Thanks i shall try that out im fairly sure my signature patches are the latest ones because
Its been lesss than a month since i modded my new switch

Today i also installed checkpoint
Funnily enough that app has cheats for a number of games including BOTW

I tried them cheats today and looks like it worked
But i need to look for the master sword and im trying to workout exactly where I can buy weapons etc except in kariko village
I guess unless u play the game u prob wont know

If you want my opinion, buying weapons in BOTW isn't really worth it. Clothes, definitely, but not weapons. You'll get weapons from defeating certain enemies and finding hidden chests that are much stronger than anything you can buy. Especially when you're strong enough to go to Hyrule Castle. No need to be strong enough to actually complete the dungeon, just sneak in like a thief, grab some loot and run away before something kills you. It's lots of fun, plus when you do get strong enough to complete Hyrule Castle, the satisfaction of killing all those monsters that you had to run away from before is great.

But this is a bit off-topic...

Hi

I wanted to ask first before doing anything just in case.

Months ago I hacked my old Switch using RCM, creating a backup of the emmc, the boot partition and then installing Atmosphere in a partition of the SD card using emuNAND (I hope I said everything correctly).

Since then I used autoRCM for a while. I don't remember booting stock since then, and all the networks were deleted.

I basically only used it to install backups of the Pokémon games I already own and trading my mons to backup them on my computer, using my other Switch lite.

Now I want to know what would be the safest way to use my hacked Switch again with my carts and being able to play online (and update the original firmware that is old) on my TV.

Is removing the SD card enough? Should I restore the NAND backup? How do I update the emuNAND firmware version if I want to use it again in the future?

Thank you

you can use a program like WinDirStat to know the size of each folder, look if you have duplicated EmuNAND files or partitions.

I finally resolved the issue. Decided to take a break and come back. This time though i followed SwitchWay guide and found it to be superior to anything else recommeded here as is doesnt just say: "do this , then do that"...It also explains aspects of the process relating to hacking your switch. I followed the steps verbatim and got the system to boot into emunand first try.
Nothing to do with my card or my system firmware being 5.1.

I also recommend NEVER telling someone to change their boot sector to anything other than the one asigned by the system when setting up partition. It will only cause problems e.g boot loop.
Well the important part is that you got it working and that it had nothing to do with your firmware. And from my perspective, the emuMMC wasn't booting anyways so I didn't see the harm in trying to change the boot sector nor did some other people but I guess I won't be using that as a piece of advice anymore.
I tried that but tinfoil did not display the title I want to download.
Try using a better title installer such as TinWoo Installer.
No I'm not
What firmware is your console on?

As long as you only ran CFW and homebrew on your emuMMC partition, then you don't need to restore anything and can go online using sysMMC. And if you want to update your emuMMC firmware version, you can use the homebrew application Daybreak which comes bundled with Atmosphere.

Thanks for replying!

I installed backups of those games in the emuNAND so I could receive and backup their data from the save file, does that count?

BTW I've seen bots on Discord that can send you a file with your Pokémon data if you show them for trade... Is there any homebrew that can do that locally?

I do some read. To be clear. I don't use Any Nintendo online service like e-shop, etc. I don't care about ban in this device.
Can i reformat whole SD CARD to FAT 32.
Format SD CARD in hekate . Don't use emunand
Copy all clean CFW files on SD CARD. And i have almost 120gb avaible storage on SD CARD? I only use nsp to install, or tinfoil. I don't need Nintendo online service. Cause i only play single player games

Its not "emuNAND", its called "emuMMC" because you're emulating the eMMC in the Switch. emuNAND would make sense if we were emulating a NAND chip but the Switch doesn't use a NAND chip. Also there aren't any homebrew applications that do what you're asking for.
