What is considered good overclocking? Couldn't really find an answer. Is overclocking on handheld GPU to 460 and RAM to 1600 fine? Or u think any kind of performance boost no matter how small is bad?

The biggest factor in overclocking is heat dissipation, which the Switch doesn't exactly excel at. I've never overclocked a Switch because of this, but on PC, the rule I follow is to start small and go up in small increments, testing each setting for a while, and when you begin to notice either instability or your fans going a bit too fast or too loud, go back to the previous setting. Also, only change one thing at a time. OC your processor first and when you've found the sweet spot, move on to RAM. If you're in handheld mode, then of course also be on the lookout for the Switch getting hot in addition to the fans and instability. After you've determined all the ideal settings, still be on the lookout whenever you're gaming for longer periods of time and pay attention to the battery drain as well. It's going to drain faster than normal, of course, but if it's draining too fast you're going to want to dial down the overclock a bit to preserve battery life.

Is it possible to restore playtime data from an EmuNAND backup? The backup is corrupted but would it be possible to extract that data and inject it into a new EmuNAND.

Do you mean the actual playtime data or maybe something more tangible like the save data? If you mean the former, I don't know of any tools that can extract and restore strictly playtime data but there is a way to recover save data. Simply follow this tutorial.

I just updated my switch console and I can't remember what I do with the latest prod and title keys. I have them but idk where they go to get my games to work again. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Well your keys have absolutely nothing to do with getting your games working because your console already comes with those keys. What you actually need are the ES, FS, & Loader patches to launch backups. You can download them from this thread.

As long as you never go online while or after using CFW/homebrew, you will not get banned. There will always be a risk of getting banned whenever dealing with CFW or homebrew until Nintendo stops banning people.

Yes, you can use the homebrew application Daybreak which comes bundled with Atmosphere. You will have to download the firmware files of whatever firmware you wish to update to on your own and supply it to Daybreak but they are available somewhere on the Internet. If your console isn't hacked or you don't want to use hacks to update it, your only other options include purchasing a retail cartridge that contains the firmware you seek or a nearby console that is running a higher firmware. The latter option also requires that both consoles have the same game but the console with a higher firmware has to have a higher version of the game than the console you wish to update.

You download it illegally from the Internet like you would any other Switch game.

The content of what folders? All you need is the .nro from the Releases page accessible from the right-hand side of the page you linked to.

Regardless, "bad data" usually means "something went wrong with your download". Try downloading just the "BOTW-Save-Editor-GUI.nro" file from here and putting it in your /switch folder. Get rid of the other files you copied as part of this applet.

If it still says bad data after re-downloading, it's very unlikely that you'd get a corrupted file twice, and even less likely that the actual file on GitHub is corrupted. We could troubleshoot this, but since there are other save editors to try, I sugest trying them before spending time working on this one.

Technically the order doesn't matter but logically speaking, newer firmware updates may not always be compatible with all versions of CFW but all versions of CFW should be compatible with all firmware updates. Therefore, there is no reason to ever be on the latest version of CFW and thus, this should always be priority number one over everything else including firmware updates

For some reason every time I install the dlc the game just says an unexpected error has happened it doesn't do this unless I install the dlc I have looked everywhere for a different dlc but no luck can anyome help me with any info on why it's doing this

It has absolutely nothing to do with backslashes otherwise CFW or Stock wouldn't boot so I have no idea what that other guy is talking about. Try changing the sector in your emummc.ini file to 0X03CBB000. It worked for another person in this thread.

The whole point of emuMMC is to be on a different firmware than sysMMC in the first place. Them being on the same firmware almost defeats the purpose of emuMMC. Unfortunately, there is no workaround to make games work on whatever firmware you want because of the SDK they are built with which are hard-coded to whatever firmware they correspond with. If the issue truly is your firmware, then that is something that should be brought up with to the Atmosphere team and SciresM because Atmosphere as well as emuMMC is meant to be supported on all firmware versions.

I finally resolved the issue. Decided to take a break and come back. This time though i followed SwitchWay guide and found it to be superior to anything else recommeded here as is doesnt just say: "do this , then do that"...It also explains aspects of the process relating to hacking your switch. I followed the steps verbatim and got the system to boot into emunand first try.
Nothing to do with my card or my system firmware being 5.1.

I also recommend NEVER telling someone to change their boot sector to anything other than the one asigned by the system when setting up partition. It will only cause problems e.g boot loop.

I buyed already hacked switch v1 with tinfoil and some switch games installed.
I want to backup those installed games, my saves, all needed backup files.
Then unhack my switch and do a hack switch again myself. Cause i want to be sure how to do this, and how everything work. How can i simply do that?
I have 128gb SD CARD inside switch.
I have fusee.bin on root my SD CARD. With this i boot to CFW with tegrarcm on pc

You don't need "un-hack", it could be dangerous if you don't know what are you doing.

if you want to backup your games you can use the NX-Dump Tool or DBI in MTP mode you can "copy" a installed game to your PC on NSP format.

read guides for understand what is to "Hack" a switch and you will understand what you need.
