I just finished Homebrew and USB Loader GX about a week ago and when I start the game my remote desyncs and flashes endlessly. Nothing I do seems to fix it and I am not knowledgable enough about this stuff to try and fix it myself. I have searched everytwere I could find for an answer and I really want to make this work for my kids.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

is this an official nintendo wiimote?

do you have wii motion built into the wiimote?

Are your batteries fully charged?

try a total resynchronization of your wiimotes.

what game are you trying to run?

Does it happen only in one game? Or does it desync with all of your games?
And when you launch a game, does it work and shows picture etc. Or does it get stuck on a black screen?

I’m not sure if it’s and official wiimote.
It does have built in motion
Batteries are fully charged
I tried total resync
I have tried 12 different games and all have failed.

It happens in all games. It shows pictures and seems to want to run fine. I just can’t play as the remotes freak out.

Open the battery cover on the back, if you see tri-wing screws its OEM, if they're Phillips screws then it's a fake.
Not saying that fakes don't work or anything but it's something..
Do you have any other remotes that work with your system and games? It could be just a faulty remote.. Otherwise if you have another and it doesn't work too, then the culprit could something else..

I have 3 wiimotes that I use. They are not official remotes. But the three remotes fail to work.

try to get second-hand wiimotes (or those around you, neighbours, friends, etc.) without an integrated and official Nintendo wii motion, and you will see the result?
