Help me identify this Gameboy dev hardware (HIT I/F BOX 7981-5001-32)

Found this the other day and I believe it's some sort of dev or diagnostics hardware for the original Gameboy. Does anyone know anything about this?

The fact that it's based off of link cable hardware means it may possibly be from a store kiosk... something like this

Thanks for your photos! According to the photo, I will organize the circuit diagram. But you will find some resistors have no value (because I can't see the color ring on it), FETs have no model number, and some wires are broken (because they are hidden under the IC and socket).
