Wow! This looks great! I only got to try nintendo zone once or twice back in it's heyday, so it will be fun to see it back in action. I hope something like this comes to nintendo video, I used that app a lot more.

Would it be possible to support Nintendo Zone on DSi too?

idk what’s wrong with it, I can’t send ROMS here so good luck figuring out. Most 3ds’s have Nintendo zone in it. Don’t know why you don’t have

Heck if you completely reset a 3DS it gets Nintendo Zone, is one of the defaults. Only reason I can think is nit there is some firmware that's really old or being removed on purpose.

Is there a way to get the NZone on the home menu? I know I had it before I've resettled my 3DS, but the SSID trick doesn't work for some reason. :/

It is installed on european devices but it is not shown on the home menu
I already stated this some time ago.

It is installed on every 3DS by default, but it seems to be set to be hidden on european devices. It is meant to be activated by connecting to a Nintendo Zone. The whole problem is that Nintendo Zone is discontinued and the old way of using WiFi networks with the correct SSIDs doesn't seem to work anymore. Nintendo started blacklisting Nintendo Zone SSIDs and it seems like there is no SSID that works on the current version.

I made another post in hope of finding a way to manually "activating" the title to no avail

Do any of you guys have Nintendo zone pages saved from when it wasn’t discontinued? It would be kindly appreciated if you could send screenshots to us so that we can make this revival complete. direct messages are accepted.

By the way besides "3DS PAINT" what did people use Nintendo Zone for?

I remember never using it before until I saw this, not even by accident.

People used Nintendo zone to watch trailers, watch Pokémon episodes, download demos, and trivia. That’s all I know

Here is the list of all Nintendo Zone SSIDs that are still recognized by the 3DS.

I did not test this myself but from the table naming the SSID NintendoSpotPass1 or NintendoSpotPass2 will probably still unlock the Nintendo Zone.
This might be relevant for everyone who doesn't have the Nintendo Zone Viewer active. You have to be connected to an open WiFi Network named NintendoSpotPass1 or NintendoSpotPass2. This will make the Nintendo Zone Viewer visible on the home screen.

You have to be connected to the network. So you either want to use the first WiFi profile for it or you use the Rosalina menu to force your 3DS to connect using the set profile.
