Hacking Custom Boot Logo for Switch

am i doing something wrong?

I seemed to have everything installed & verified it in cmd prompt, but when i go to type in "
python gen_patches.py patches_dir new_logo", i get this in the attached photo.

This is so close. Take a look at the last bit of instructions:

here’s the command (use my guaranteed working .png file from the previous post for your first attempt):

python gen_patches.py patches_dir new_logo

new_logo=the name of the 308x350 .png file you copied into this directory that you want patched into files. If you download the attached proof of concept file it would be F44C1AC8-3310-4EA5-BFFB-1F682120F3B8.png

patches_dir=use whatever directory name makes sense to you. You will copy this entire directory over to /atmosphere/exefs_patches/ when you are done.

1. Copy my .ping file to your working directory. This is what we’re going to patch in.

2. Run the following:
python gen_patches.py nintendont F44C1AC8-3310-4EA5-BFFB-1F682120F3B8.png

This will create a directory called nintendont using my attached png file that you copied into this directory.

Yes, but first you want to succeed with a working model. Next step will be to take a working learned skill and use it to troubleshoot your image. Limiting the variables.

Yours looks great! You should use it first for sure. Whole point is you don't have to commit now. Swap out whenever you'd like! :-)

The one I did is just a slight tweak of your original so of course you can use it. It was yours to begin with and still is.
