ROM Hack Question Pokemon Let's Go wild battles

Hello,
Is there a mod that allow you to fight wild pokemon instead of just throw balls
If no, do you think this feature will come (soon)?

No the game was designed to only catch wild pokemon, battling them was left out intentionally. A simple mod wouldn't add that, b/c the entire game would need to be redone

That's not necessarily true. There are wild battles, against the legendary bird for example. That means it might be as simple as finding what differentiates the wild battles and the legendary battles. It could very well be an "if" statement or a "switch-case" statement somewhere in the code that redirects to the wild battle or to the legendary battle, so it could be possible to change that condition
