so I accidentally updated my switch I used my backup and fixed it but lost my games in the process but I still have the Nintendo folder with all my games and saves. Is there a way I can get my save data back using my old Nintendo folders, save folder?
They r gone for good shouldn't of flashed the backup as v14.0.0 has been supported for a few days now

No, just the app…you might want to grab a slightly older one for SXOS due to 11.0.0 being the last working FW

Whew! Good stuff man. I trust you’re sailing on your own power now…good luck and enjoy!
Another weird situation. So I copied the DBI.nro file to the root of my sd card and this is also not shwoing up. So my backups and this file isnt showing on the sd card. Any ideas?

how does a game like the zelda standalone hack get thier title key if those games really doesnt exist like the normal nintendo nsp games

Trying to understand you’re eventual goal here. Is this question along the lines of “how did the developers go about creating the inner workings of Zelda: Second Wind?”

im talking about zelda ocarina of time n64. the 64 one that didnt need n64 online or the sm3das hack to get it to launch.

it was able to launch independently without the help of the launcher mentioned

Nice. Didn’t realize this was even a thing so I have no idea.

Is anyone else more up to speed on this than I am?

I want to know what makes the Nintendo switch is patched. Because I want to buy a biggest flash memory so can someone tell me if its the motherboard or the flash memory make it patched.
Thanks

At a very high level, fusee gelee is an exploit against the bootloader of the Tegra SOC CPU. nVidia left a known debugging backdoor open (RCM mode) that mades the CPU vulnerable to exploit. Later releases of the switch had this backdoor deactivated so the system would ignore attempt to exploit it…this is considered “patched”.

This is a good place to start reading about the fusee gelee exploit: https://switch.homebrew.guide/gettingstarted/beforestarting.html

it has a link to a white paper about exactly how the exploit works.

On an unrelated note:
the biggest emmc you can solder into the system is 256G
the biggest sd card you can run is 2TB (however the biggest available right now is only 1TB)

so if I change emmc chip it won't make my Nintendo switch patched as I understand
Right ?

Correct. The key components are “married” at the factory so they are not swappable.

If your switch is patched you can:

a) sell it and buy a used but non-patched version.
b) search for a SX Core or HWFLY mod chip that uses a different “glitching” exploit.

My Nintendo switch won't boot or won't charge I don't know why. Can someone help me

Very little that can be done if it’s unresponsive and won’t even charge. You can try holding the power button for 15 seconds and then tapping the power button for 1/2 a second but without power it’s not likely to work. Your best options are to send it to Nintendo for warranty repair or, if not under warranty, take it to a local electronics repair shop.
