So I messed up somewhere or so

New game like metroid (base version) doesn't work anymore
I updated sigpatches from gbatemp
Not sure what I missed updated both atmosphere and henkake

Even tinfoil doesn't want to boot anymore :S

It's it possible to play N64 roms on Switch? Which possible How do I do that?

Download Retroarch from the HB App Store (it takes several minutes to install just so you know). Open it an choose "Load Core", scroll down and choose "Download a Core", scroll down and choose "Nintendo - Nintendo 64 (Mupen64Plus-Next)". Then go back and choose "Load Content" and navigate to where your N64 ROMs are stored, then just choose the ROM you want to play. You might need an N64 BIOS file too; I'm not sure as I haven't used this core myself.

If you're having slowdown or anything then you can press plus and minus at the same time to bring up the Retroarch "Quick Menu", then press B to go back to the "Main Menu". From there you can scroll down to "CPU Overclock" and try some higher clocks. To get back to the game, choose "Quick Menu" at the top and then "Resume". There's also an Options menu in the Quick Menu which will have some settings for the N64 core itself.

Can anyone offer any help please? I've updated hekate and sig patches etc but now I can't get into the album as it errors out. I also can't use a game and r to enter it either. Some of the games have also stopped working saying the data is corrupt or simply error out on opening.

Where did you download the sig patches from? Did you get them HERE or from the actual Github?

I had a hell of a time figuring out what was going on yesterday but apparently the Github sig patches are missing the hekate_ipl file from the Bootloader folder. The patches you download from the forums here have that file.

I have a question: if i download the zip recommended default values for the Switch from sdsetup, to update Atmosphere and Hekate just overwrite the folders with the most updated ones since it is stopped at 1.1.1 Atmosphere/Hekate 2021/09/24 over a month ago.

It seems that I'm able to unlink my account from my banned switch using the nintendo website (Although it only allows this once a year )

But I just want to know if im safe in using my account on the new Switch, and if I will get all of my downloads / save data.

Well the error message is pretty self-explanatory; you have the PKG1 of an Erista Unit on your Mariko. I don't know if you ever used ChoiDujourNX on your console but that is one way this error occurs. Anyways, the only solution is to restore a BOOT0 (which contains PKG1) to your unit. Unfortunately that file is copyrighted because its part of the console so it cannot be shared or linked here. That being said, like pirated games, some people may have shared dumps of their Mariko BOOT0 or take requests to dump them somewhere on the Internet. Also make sure that the BOOT0 matches your current firmware as they are firmware-specific.

You can use JKSV in sysMMC to dump the save file then run JSKV in emuMMC to restore it. As for cheats, you can consult this thread for further instructions.

Yes, there is more updated thread with the patches which you can find here. And eyes, NS_USBLoader replaced the Tinfoil option with Awoo since Tinfoil hasn't been updated in several years.

Yeah no such list exists. It falls onto the user to not try playing a pirated game online because it won't work. All offline components will work but this varies too widely so no one has compiled which games have offline components.

Hi, so I'm new to Switch Modding and I have Atmosphere set up along with a few Super Smash Brothers. mods! I wanted to know; is there anything else I should set up / look into when it comes to modding to keep myself as safe as possible or low risk of any issues? I just have Smash Ultimate cosmetic mods, I have not updated to 13.1 yet as I know to not update until it's released for us to download from the Firmware website. What else is there to know? I played Smash Ultimate online with my awesome outfit mod and there seemed to be 0 issue, so I am sure I'll be fine on that front.

Any issues related to modding are very game-specific. If you have any problems, you should head to a dedicated modding community for that game for help. All I know is that mods are usually specific for certain game updates so don't update your game unless the mod works for that update.

Ok so I read through updating hekate. And got one question:
hekate_ipl.ini

What am I supposed to do with this? I mainly inject fusee primary. So Not sure if I should keep my old "hekate_ipl.ini" or overwrite it with a new one?

I don't use emunand or anything.

Also is Tinfoil + Nut still the go to or do we use a new method?

You don't need a hekate_ipl.ini file if you chainload fusee from the Payloads menu. You do need it if you use a Launch option from the Launch menu. Usually, you never overwrite your hekate_ipl.ini file since these are your personalized Launch options. As for installing .NSP files, I have never ever used DZ but I do use TinWoo Installer and have never run into any issues while using it so I always recommend it to other users. The PC program that goes along with it is NS-USBLoader.

Updated Smash Bros to version 13.0 and installed it via Awoo but now it refuses to start, just get the can't start error.

Any ideas? Running 13.0 firmware with deep sea

Well I would recommend deleting the /atmosphere folder and /sept folder if you have that before overwriting it.

I used AIO Switch Updater to update those and I believe that I made a mistake because it started to give that Panic Occurred error happen after I did that.

I ran the Archive Bit fix, but it fixed 0 unset and 0 set.

Well hacking is already an action that risks a ban but unless you plan on going online with emuMMC, the risk seems moot. As for my title manager of choice, it has to be TinWoo Installer.

You need patches to install and launch backups. Download them from the thread here on this forum.

You need patches to install and launch homebrew .NSP files. These patches also have to be updated with every firmware version and CFW update. Grab the latest patches from the thread on this site,

1. I don't believe there were any updates for the cartridge slot after firmware 10.2 so you should be fine. If not, you can always disable nogc but remember that you will not be able to downgrade your cartridge slot anymore nor use it on lower firmware versions
2. Yes, you just have to convert the payload you use to launch Atmosphere to boot.dat. You can use this website to do that

I asked this question, and didn't even say thank you, sorry. Your solution worked great. I'm still not able to play the Sonic homebrews or Quake 3, but that's bc they aren't updated to work with the new firmware. I have no clue how to do that. Everything else works, however, and that's good enough for me. Thank you a lot!

I found out the problem, the new Atmosphere version is not compatible with the Skyline plugin that was around ARCropolis.

Also, the new sigpatches got barely released yesterday. So check it out.

Don't use websites to check the serial number. They are notoriously outdated and thus unreliable. Use the thread from this site instead to check if its patched or not.

Ok, so I was injecting the latest hekate into switch with Tegra and the games wouldn't load, if I use my previous version of hekate (I think it's 5.0.0 or something) the games work).

Still get issues opening album or holding R with game, and I've removed tinfoil as part of trying to fix stuff so I can't add any new games. Can anyone advise on how to get the album up and running again please!!

Well you can't go online without being on the latest firmware so there is no workaround for that. And if you don't care about being banned, then you can just update online.

It might be an issue with the patches. Download the latest patches from this thread.

Daybreak comes bundled with Atmosphere automatically so it should be with the latest Atmosphere. Otherwise, what is the error code? And how are you launching the homebrew applications?
