Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a way to set a specific aspect ratio for certain games with this forwarder? I'd like most of my games to be in 4:3, but I have a widescreen patch for Mario Kart that only works in 16:10.

You can only use widescreen patches with TWiLight Menu++.

You can only use widescreen patches with TWiLight Menu++.

I'm using this kind of patch. It does work, it's just that it's incredibly squished when I'm in 4:3 mode but I was hoping there was some way to configure aspect ratio depending on the game, so I don't have to switch settings each time.

The only solution is to use TWiLight Menu++.

• The console is now auto-detected.
• The TWL clock speed blacklist is now up to date with the one from TWiLight Menu++!

To update, just re-follow Part 1.1 in the first post.

You do not need to remake the forwarder every time there's a template update.

before... i thought i need to keep creating new forwarder when theres template update, cuz i thought it may contain some additional features or fixes.

btw, im just curious what specifically it is (the template) that you keep on updating?

It's what passes the ROM to nds-bootstrap.

The forwarder app in Windows opens and close fast.

What is the problem? I try use 17 and 8 versions.

EDIT: SOLVED!

Bro, the last official Java program is broked and not working with 3DSForwarder.

I take another version of Java searching in Google: "3DSForwarder Download".

I just redid all my DS forwarders (on my N3DS XL) with NDSForwarder, and it worked great. My question is whether it uses a customized version of nds-bootstrap, or if I can continue updating nds-bootstrap normally with Universal Updater from this point on.

I guess that probably depends on if you're using a flash cart and if it's using bootstrap.
