Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition leaked by Korean ratings board

Sometimes, rumors are incorrect, and other times, they've proven to be true. When it comes to the rumblings of the existence of a Grand Theft Auto trilogy remaster, it appears that it was the latter, in this case. The South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee has let another game slip prior to its official announcement: Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. The game, which would likely be a collection of Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas, was given a classification earlier today, with franchise publisher Take Two Interactive having filed for the rating. No platforms or release window was listed, though we can likely expect to see an official announcement follow soon.

Still doesn't tell us anything other than it's published by T2 and that it's the so called "Definitive Edition". I don't know. It still feels like they're just going to milk those botched up mobile ports.

I feel like the series needs more of a reboot.

Odd name. While these three games are definitely the most popular ones, they are far from being the original trilogy. The original 3D trilogy, perhaps?
Everything is "Definitive Edition" these days, seems like a marketing tactic to attract people, and it makes it look like they're giving them a nice bargain.

I expect polished up versions of the mobile ports, Rockstar would never put that much effort remastering all 3 games in a new engine let alone sell them in a triple pack.

Still Vice City on Switch would be neat.

Rockstar guy 1: Should we purchase larger size Switch cartridges for manufacturing or give the developers more time to create an efficient compression file system to fit the game on a small Switch cart?

Rockstar guy 2: Screw the Switch. Just release GTA 3 on cart and make them download the rest on their console.

Nice, I don't know why everyone is already dissing the trilogy when it isn't even out yet. People sure LOVE to be pessemistic about everything now a days.

So it's almost guaranteed we're gonna have to rip the radio stations from the original PC release and replace the ones in the remasters because of the licensing issues. There's no way they're paying for all of the same music again.
Hope they include the "stories" games too.
Would be cool but they're not gonna do that.
