@MikaDubbz , you might try brown at some point. I think that's what the original dark theme uses. not sure if I'd change to that or not from the blue theme. I love the hand icon when using player 1, how its outline is blue, and the number is blue, and the inside of the hand is black.

the repository is just the files ready to be uploaded if they were ever lost. I have it on two hdds right now.

Man I'm not feeling it for brown. My intention at this point is yellow next, then orange, then white, then maybe dark blue, and maybe a teal after that.

you would have to check if it's indeed brown or chocolate colored or not. that's what I remember from the original. I might go for dark blue, might work better with the dark blue vwii theme.

@MikaDubbz , I just took this pic. I purposely angled it to hide my nnid, since I'm that paranoid. :P

Yeah, oddly enough, I'm not finding where all the player colors values are located. Like I saw one value that was blue so that might correlate to player 1, but there were no values nearby for red (player 2), green (player 3), or yellow (player 4), so I'm not thinking it is the value to change, but I can't figure out where it would be otherwise. There are a few values like that, they're definitely in there, I just haven't tracked them down yet. But the hand colors also don't bother me too much if they aren't all in line with the theme beyond being black as a base instead of white.

This looks great! Whats that icon above the disk drive icon though?
That's the overclock homebrew app, I just find it quicker to launch overclock from the Wii U menu and then launching the N64 or PS1 emulator instead of having to go into the homebrew channel, launching the app and then launching one of the emulators for better emulator speeds.

Literally just extract the zip to the root of your SD card (if you're on a North American Wii U anyway, if PAL or Jpn, read the included readme). Then launch SDCafiine on your Wii U with the SD card inserted and you're good to go.

@MikaDubbz, fantastic work! The themes look very nice and the dark ones are much better for the eyes.

I have no CBHC, so I don't feel comfortable overwriting any files on my NAND via FTP or rosalina installer. In general, I am trying to get a theme automatically applied when booting Haxchi (to also easily recognize that a CFW is running).

The Haxchi config.txt is updated in such a way that Haxchi starts SDCafiine when I press A during boot. The theme gets applied which is nice. The problem is now: I cannot start forwarded homebrews (Retroarch, PPSSPP) from the menu anymore because starting them results in a black screen. I dunno if it's me or a technical problem?

This is sadly just a side effect of being in SDCafiine in general. After you're in SDCafiine and try to boot a homebrew app installed as a channel/forwarder, that app simply won't load. This is part of why going permanent with a theme is a bit more attractive.

Do you know where you can get this app?

good to know that the problem is related to SDCafiine. It drove me crazy because I could not figure out what I was doing wrong.
I just tested regular WiiU Games which seem to work with the theme applied but pressing the Home button freezes the game.
(not that I am complaining, just an observation)

Now that's interesting, that definitely doesn't happen to me with a permanent theme or with a different theme loaded via SDCafiine. So I'm not sure what can be said to explain that. What theme are you using? I'll test it with my SDCafiine.

I used the "Dark Light Blue" theme. The error seems to be game-specific. It is reproducible with "Child of Light" (EU), "Mario Kart 64" (VC; USA). The home button works in "Captain Toad Treasure Tracker" (EU), "Affordable Space Adventures" (EU).

Hmm, well I just tested Child of Light (think mine is US), and with the permanent theme not booting through SDCafiine I could hit home and return to the Wii U menu, but after booting SDCafiine first with an alt custom theme, and then with no alt custom theme, the system did indeed freeze when I hit home, both times. So my conclusion is, it's not the themes that freeze certain games, it's again, SDCafiine. Which honestly isn't that surprising to me, it's a great system for loading mods, but it has been known to have it's problems here and there.

I have child of light (the usa version), and I have the usb loader gx forwarder. both work without a problem. this is with the theme as permanent. I didn't realize, but child of light requires the gamepad.

Yes, like I said, they work fine permanent, but try Child of Light after booting SDCafiine, with or without a theme it will freeze the system when you hit the home button in side of the game. It's definitely something to do with SDCafiine.

well, I was just confirming what you said, since I have one of those games specifically. it's a legit purchase too.
