Homebrew FATFS ERROR: NO FAT

HI

I have this error on switch , I try to copy mortal kombat 11 the file size 8 GB so the card not allowed to copy
so I do something by Command prompt like this video:.
to make the card accept the file but after I do it I get this error so go back to main system he tell you need to format the card so do I need to format the card and do the hacking again ??

I don't no how to install game so I see video for tinfoil app and follow the instructions so I fucked up if there any way to fix the SD card and learn how to copy large game to install by using tinfoil?

It sounds like your card is formatted FAT32. this is good, this is what you want. But it does not allow files over 4GB, so you have to work around that.

What I do is split NSP using software, find a NSZ file (smaller file sizes), or install over wifi with awoo installer. I'm sure there are better options, though, if anyone else wants to chime in.

no its still not formatted still have the files.

and i cannot use the awoo app i am on area no have good WIFI .(•_•)

may be i will make again the hack again and we see what happen.

You can install via usb to computer or depending on what installer you use, you can install directly from external hdd/flashdrive.

Use dbi: https://github.com/rashevskyv/dbi/releases
Open dbi in Switch, connect cable to PC, press X button on a Switch, then just drag'n'drop all the desired NSP/NSZ/XCI files into Switch > 5: MicroSD Install. It doesn't matter if it's bigger than 4GB or not, it's that simple with DBI.

thanks mathew77 i do the hack again and install DBI and awoo installer but still i don't now why its not working the game i try with both apps then try to copy the desk game and started show me carpeted file than ask me to download but I scare to download then update system my system 11.1.

ah. you probably need signature (sig) patches.
