But I mean
It's just how is everyone gonna get along if they say this all the time.
I know some LGBT people
but I mean if you were one
would you talk about it for a whole month
I'm cool with you wanting to be an LGBT member
but even before July I always saw flags for the community.
I'm not gay myself and I know lots of people still discriminate but the community needs to rethink a way to convince the people with an outdated concept
I was a homophobic before (not proud to admit it)
but I changed after understanding
what's wrong with loving someone
We need to spread more love, not flags

Pride month is meant to be a few things; a sign of progress from the past, a sign to those struggling that things can get better, and a celebration for those who’ve made it this far and future generations who will be able to build in the foundation set by those before them. I meme about Pride but I know a lot of LGBT+ youth and young adults who look up to me and are still here because of the Pride I’ve shown. To me, Pride is more than a month, it’s a reminder of our past and progress to be made. This is actually why I am so open about who I am, in the hopes that they will see someone proud and happy. They will realize that they aren’t better off dead and that things get better
