You have two options though you can either use a hekate/fss0 build SD Setup/Deepsea etc, if you want something much cleaner you can use Vanilla Atmosphere, what firmware and what you got unpatched/patched unit?
Let me understand the process of the exploit. How much of the hack happens server side and how much off SD?
Until now I thought that the DNS entry is to provoke reading the hack off the SD card, but that can't be the case because I launched the internet, got to the screen "Registration is required to use this network" and I still get the PegaScape screen with HBmenu and Caffeine icons!!!!
Not only that, I can still select HBmenu and it STILL loads the exploit and says "Success!", then asks me to press "[HOME]" and then go to the album. ALL WHILE SD CARD IS NOT EVEN PRESENT!!!

That would suggest, when I select the "Album" that is when it finally tries to access the SD cards and something IS wrong with either directory structure or whatever else related to reading content of the SD card!
This is the content of my SD cards:

Is this looking correct?
If so, why wouldn't switch launch the exploit off SD card??

The folder structure looks fine, when it load the second stage of Atmosphere the file is on the SD, suck if you have a patched unit. Based on your H2testw test result the 128GB card seem fine.

It's patched, but it's on 4.1.0. It still should work with caffeine, no?

If I set the internet and the DNS settings on a truly patched unit, would it still load PegaScape, the way it loads on mine?

EDIT: Could anyone answer my question how does the exploit functions? How much is done server side and at what point content on SD card comes to play? Is there no one knowledgeable on these forums?

It should work fine, it is interesting that it freeze when the card tested fine with h2testw. You could try to see if older build of pegascape from Team Atlas NX / Kosmos work for you.

Where would I look for that? What should I replace in the folder structure?

You can look here, it has older Pegascape build, you can try to see if you can run it or not, if SD setup one doesn't work for you, they are prebuild pack, if they don't work you might have to build your own pack.

Can I use my switch to convert my sdcard to fat32?

You can do everything on FAT32, I would suggest using hekate to chainload Vanilla Atmosphere.

The folder structure is the same as it is in the zip file. So just put them as they are suppose to be.

What is interesting that it freezes exactly the same whether card is PRESENT or NOT!!!
What does that mean? After I click on album it freezes (partially) with or WITHOUT the card. Is it because it's awaiting for card to load and it doesn't so it's stuck in an endless waiting loop??

The SD needs to be present when you load cfw.

I understand that, I am just making the observation, that PegaScape exploit works until the point it's required to click on "Album" icon. EVERYTHING loads the same whether the card is there or not. I'm not sure if you're understanding that part. EVERYTHING functions the same WITH or WITHOUT the card in.

And then Freezes EXACTLY THE SAME with or without the card.

Is there a way to directly install .xci files on atmosphere through usb?? I'm currently using awoo and i can install nsp files fine but it doesn't work with .xci files.
