Hi, after update to fw 12.0。3 and 0.19.4 atom, some of my game installed from .xci is unable to launch as there are computed, and some of the homebro apps are also unable to launch. Can I have someone help me to fix it? In addition, some of the installations are unable to proceed due to invalid magic or sigpatchs error, but I have updated the sigpathchs file as well.

Hello everyone, im having trouble with my switch, i can only access to hekate 5.5.7 with auto rc using tegrarcm, and no matter which files i put on my sd, it stucks in the nintendo logo screen after showing me the atmosphere logo, the files in the sd are just the "minimal bundle" downloaded from the sdsetupdotcom page. I am missing something more? I cant even run the ofw from hetake

Where did you get your patches from? It is possible that wherever you downloaded them were not correct and/or updated.

You can just check yourself with NSC_Builder.

If I use my Switch solely to boot into CFW, do I need to update my OFW for any reason? I don't play online or anything like that. I don't really understand how the CFW works...does it trick the games into thinking that the firmware is running whatever version is on the CFW?

The only other reason you would update your firmware is to be able to play newer games and content. As more and more games are released, they will require higher firmware versions. The CFW has no effect on the firmware requirement for the games.

If you are not using partition-based emuMMC, it is as simple as copying all of the files and folders from one SD card to another.

The sd card is in exFAT

Format the SD card to FAT32. exFAT is not recommended to use on the Switch as it can corrupt your SD card unlike FAT32.

In order to launch backups, or games you do not own, you need patches. If you have never downloaded them, then that is precisely the cause of your issue. You can download the latest patches from the pinned thread on this forum.

I have ipatched N Switch on firmware 4.1.0. I tried to install HBmenu for few years now with same result. The exploit works every time and I see HBmenu and Caffeine Icons. I select HBmenu it does it's thing. 30 sec+ I get SUCCESS and it asks me to press home and the Album and then IT ALWAYS freezes!
I tried restoring the Switch to original settings, re-formatted the SD card in PC and in another Switch, Tried all sort of hbmenu.nros and same thing. It simply refuses to load that HBmenu. Freezes partially. It will even go back to the Pegascape screen, but other than giving me shut down options, nothing works.
Anyone came across such stubborn Switch and got it to work? Any suggestions?

When i select "install all" within tinfoil usb install it will just download the first file in the list, not the rest. Why is that?

I tried Tinwoo before, but Tinwoo gives me an error after it finished (usbthreadfunc73: usb transfer timed out or failed), but with tinfoil it installs no problem.

Something tells me that I've done a lot wrong.
I've bought my switch back in 2019: In this order I can remember:

1. used hekate, nand backup, can't remember wich firmware back then.
2. used to turn it on sometimes on ofw because noobish
3. Turned on auto_rcm.
4. turned on incognito_rcm blank
5. I'm updating for a bout a year using ChoidujourNX/Daybreak
6. I've always used sysnandCFW
7. If i want to 'clean' my switch, without any traces, what I'm suposeed to do? I mean, I want to migrate to emunand(offline homebrews), and sysnand (official online nintendo games like metroid prime 5 and 6).

Do i need to know my fuses to know where to downgrade to? Or i'm lost?

Bonus question. Is cfw/emunand very slow? (its sd card after all)

I have tried to change the DNS and downloaded sigpatch but still getting the same error. I restarted the switch in normal mode and was able to get the error code to go away but when i booted atmosphere back up the error came back. Can anyone please help steer me in the right direction?

What you trying to do download content from eshop while on CFW?
