Homebrew Please help me, games freezing on loading screen

after buying a western digital hard drive, and installing super mario 3d world to it, it still keeps freezing on the loading screen, and it happens with all other games too can someone please help me, i dont know what in the hell im doing wrong

That was not the question the question was do you have a 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch hdd.

The one in the left is 3.5 the one on the right is 2.5.

Left is 3.5, right is 2.5, 3.5 enclosure come with it own power supply, as 2.5 drive you would need a y cable.

looks like 2.5 drive, you would need a y cable or your drive will keep disconnecting, as the one port isn't supply enough amperes.
