Imagine having the access to all of the games but it tends to get "boring" considering you have so many options you end up not completing games. Maybe it's just me
Absolutely that has happened to me. Its kinda like a "having Christmas every day" lifetime movie lol.
But ya its sorta like game ADD and sometimes keeps me from getting deep into any game.

You can download 100 games and never complete one its cool to show off to your friends that your switch can do XYZ but you will never complete your games. I just started back playing my switch lite and the games that I purchased. As small as the SNES online is it's pretty sufficient I've been playing Yoshi's Island for a few days and Mario Maker 2.

CFW is a gift and a curse you'll download so many games that you will never even play however you have the "need" to download them.

Yep. in fact had to add a extra hard drive in my pc to hold all the Switch games I download, because maybe one day I will play them...

A friendly reminder that the price of popular Switch games is likely to increase from $60 to $70 in the near future.
Not sure which side of the fence you're getting at, but speaking of that, it was kinda long over due:
"Is $70 unfairly high? The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says that $59.99 in January 2005, when adjusted for inflation, is the same as $81.15 in January 2020. So, by that measure, $79.99 doesn’t seem unfair on its face. A cynic might say that console gamers are actually getting a deal."

My point was I wouldn't complain about large libraries of Switch games one didn't necessarily pay for.

Yeah, I can definitely relate to this post. Having a lot of choices makes you end up not taking stuff so seriously and skipping game after game without finishing a lot of them.

I try a lot of games that I don't feel like finishing them. But, on the other hand, there are other games that really keep me glued. And most of the times these are the games I wouldn't pay for, but end up installing them out of curiosity just because I have CFW. ^_^

I think that's the positive thing about having CFW on your consoles. The possibility to try a lot of games and find the options that suit your needs without feeling bad for paying for what you may not like, since all the games are free. :)

I experienced that before but I see it more as a library nowadays. I can choose whatever I like from a huge selection and had my time trying out game after game to find the rare gems.
Nowadays i am more focused on single games and also finish them, last were Bowsers Fury and Cyber Shadow, was a lot of fun.

this is why i sort of prefer physical media, i had loads of gameboy games a while back, sold them all and got a ez flash because it was just easier than having hundreds of games around, now i dont play it haha
You might be onto something there!
Its the same thing with digital movies/shows I have on a HDD plugged into my TV.
Even the discs I purchase end up ripped to the hard drive too, and I kinda get show/movie ADD (though not quite as bad, it happens).

You can't really get the ADD as easily with physical movies/media, because who is going to go thru the process of physically getting up, opening the case, unloading/loading the media you want, unless you REALLY want to play it
VS just pressing "a" lol.

This is me with all the games I bought legally. I'm actually less bored with CWF because I get to poke around under the hood.

I can relate, my shelf is full of games that I never played or played around 30mins, but CFW allow me experiment with mods and stuff no possible with vanilla Switch, I actually spent more time configuring, making patches, or making benchmarks than playing games.

Happens to me too. I usually just play one game at a time though, so I go through alternating phases of looking at my ten thousand games and feeling like "there's nothing to play" and ignoring every game but one and being perfectly content with just that one until I beat it.
