Hacking Question Ghosts 'n goblins Resurrection and SXOS cheat problem

Not sure where to post this so mods, feel free to move it wherever.

When I'm in Ghosts n Goblins and hit the home button then hit the album button (so I can access the SX OS cheat menu) I get a white screen. I can get back to the main Switch screen to resume my game but it seems there is something about this game that is preventing the album button from launching the SX OS menu.

Time to switch from SX OS to Atmosphere?

Orig firmware 5.1.0
I tried to install 11.0.1
But couldnt get the cfw to boot
Erased my emunand and created a new one
Then updated it to 11.0.0
But this ghouly game says need to update system firmware

how did you get it running please

I believe I'm using SXOS 3.0.5 and sysnand is on 10.2.0...... (I think). When I get home, I can verify.

But I installed it via Tinfoil from a certain server and applied the latest patch and away I went. Game works perfectly other than not being able to access the album and get into the SXOS cheat menu.

I'm on cfw 9.0.0 sxos 3.1.0 and I downgrade my games to run on lower fw.the funny thing is the game booted up but before I was able to make a new save to start the game it said the game needed to be updated but I just pressed start and it bypassed the message and since then I haven't got the update message no more.I tried looking for codes.they made this game even harder then the original!!! To frustrated to play it till cheats arrive!!!! I'm just gonna play bravely default II for now.

You said you tried looking for codes.... does that mean you were able to get into the SXOS cheat menu or you were looking for general codes online?

I didn't upgrade to 3.1.0 because I read the code was sort of sloppy and since I didn't need to upgrade, I didn't.

As for game difficulty, totally agree! On the lowest difficult setting, it's fairly easy to play right through since your character is pretty much immortal. I'm playing it on the toughest setting and after failing a stage so many times, it gives you the option to try it again and it automatically lowers the difficulty level.

There's nothing wrong with version sxos 3.1.0. I found all my cheats using it by myself for immortals fenyx rising!!! since a lot of the cheats weren't working for that game that were posted for it I found my own and I'm on version 3.1.0 and the cheat system works fine for me.

3.1.0 fixed xci game related bugs. I noticed Hyrule Warriors AOC wasn't lagging anymore in the world menu screen. Also I can use sxos cheats just fine. So its worth the try if you really want to use the sxos cheats.

I upgraded to SX OS 3.1.0 and the Album now comes up while G&G is running but there is an amazingly horrible lag while navigating around in the cheat menu.

@iLL wiLL Are you experiencing that same lag?

Yeah theres some lag hovering the cheats too fast. So you gonna have to scroll slowly to avoid it from freezing up or edit your cheat file having your most used cheats listed on the top.

I only experienced lag on ghosts n goblins v1.2 but I can still get into the cheat menu.im going back to the base version and see what happens.I got the id #for the game v1.2 using the cheats menu 0100d6200f2ba000

hit home as soon as the game boots then enable codes, or hit home, put to sleep then album.

and no, this is a rare occasion and has happened with some other games but not a lot.

nope, same problem on atmosphere, push Home the second it goes to black screen when launching game

You can use Switch Army Knife or NSC_Builder to patch your Games to a lower Firmware.
To get your Keys use Lockpick_RCM.

I know that's why I said.I searched google and found them.I myself didn't find them!!idk how to put codes together only find them within the sxos cheat system.I figured I post them since there not here anywhere.idk why xtatu didn't post them.im trying to find a double jump code or moon jump.this game is much harder then the original on normal mode.I remember playing this game when it 1st came out.I remember back then I could beat literally any game on one quarter but this game...different story.

Sorry about that I searched GBAtemp.com for the codes and I couldn't find nothing.I'm not like cheatslips.com they're the ones that steal the codes and post them. Bad news I used the codes for ghosts n goblins resurrection and they freeze when you get to the boss.then you have to reset the game and it seems to save at the last point before you activated the cheats.I didn't know you can activate cheats in sleep mode thanks for that info.I guess im gonna look for another game to play for now.this game is to frustrating!!! Any suggestions on a good metroidvania game?? There's been soo many releases this month idk what to grab???
