Hello,

I have a Nintendo Switch jailbreak with Caffeine (for just over a year) with a 256 GB microSD.

I sometimes had problems with the microSD (in FAT32). My PC (Windows) couldn't read its content and asked me to format it.
I repaired several times the errors in cmd.exe with the command chkdsk /f
I had no more worries afterwards. Everything was working well.

However, today it doesn't work anymore.

When I start my Switch, I run Pegascape and then boot to EmuMMC Then, the screen stays frozen for several minutes on the blue Atlas Kosmos screen for long minutes to finish on a black screen. I think the problem comes from the microSD. I can read its contents on Linux Ubuntu.

I also have a problem with the battery level indicator.

Thanks in advance

Have you tried checking to see if the SD card is fake or not?

Try running your CFW with another sd card, copy everything except the Nintendo folder. If it fails too the sd slot inside your switch could be damaged, it's prone to damage but it's replaceable.

This is a real microSD Sandisk sold and shipped by Amazon.

Can I try with a 32GB microSD?

Something similar happened to me, only the last time the memory was write-protected and I have not been able to repair it, it is possible that they are damaged files within atmosphere, I did the memory health tests and it shows that there are no errors
sorry for my bad english as a translator

I would recommend using FakeFlashTest to double check the results of CHKDSK.
My SD card died shortly after I posted that.

So I set up another SD card I had laying around and that ones doing the same thing!!! I find it hard to believe I have two dying SD cards at the same time. I have another one in the mail. Taken over a week to deliver :hateit:

I was unable to open or format the 256GB microSD from Windows. Every time I inserted the card, my PC crashed.

However, I was able to do it on Linux Ubuntu by using slow formatting (with data deletion).
Then I switched back to Windows to use guiformat and then H2testw.

My microSD card seems to have no problem.

i used to have a lot of issues with my sdcard becoming corrupted when first getting the switch, in the end i started mounting the sdcard instead of always removing it from the switch. never had an issue since.

Well did you try the other suggestion earlier in the thread by trying to boot CFW with another SD card? It could potentially be a hardware issue which is harder to fix.

My Switch is patched and the system version is 4.1.0. So I proceeded to the hack with Caffeine.
I prepared the files for my microSD with SDSetup. Then, I configured the primary and secondary DNS settings of my Wi-Fi connection for PegaScape.
On the PegaScape page, I select the hbmenu icon then a window appears and says "Success".
Then, I stay blocked when I have to press the Album icon.
The screen stays white for more than 10 minutes.
hbmenu does not load.

You can use "AOMEI Partition Assistant" to fix this, in the future, minus pc crash.

Although I do not use Pegascape, I did read over the instructions on how to set it up an the guide states that if your console white screens, you should perform a manual shutdown (i.e. hold power for 15 seconds) and to try again.
