Really stupid noob question - so does just going online when running CFW get you banned ? Or can you play online under CFW without any problem at all ?

Can't play on a dirty nand online, what you could do is create an emunand and do all your homebrew/backup stuffs there and use sysnand for online.

hi everyone,
last time a was telling about sigpatches, (I couldn't start mario odyssey), draxzelex tell me that put new sigpatches, and I did, but no luck at all, everything is the same,
thanks everyone for help, especially draxzelex, but could I do anything else?

Thanks for your help. I am getting ready again. but as mentioned, I did have to reinstall many games, which is quite time consuming. is there an app that can select multiple games to install at once ?
By the meanings of a backup, is it required to fully backup the whole SD card, or is it sufficient to backup all custom FW folders, without the games ?

hello guys ... can you help me to find webkit lib or browser app from 11.0.1 ?
i have an webkit exploit that cause a kernel panic but i dont know how to debug... i come from ios .... there’s not even a kernel log here :(

ps. merry christmas to all

Hey guys. I'm planning on clean up my SysNand with a backup, but first I have some questions. In order to do the cleaning properly I understand that the SysNand firmware must match with the backup's one. So, in my case, I will have to downgrade to 4.1 OFW. The question is, if my SysNand OFW is lower than the one on my emunand(SX OS pro with 11.0 FW) will emunand run anyways or it will throw a black screen?. Also, after downgrade to 4.1 and clean nand I'm planning on update the SysNand through nintendo servers in order to play online. Currently the OFW is at 11.0.1 but SX OS only supports up to 11.0. If the OFW on SysNand is higher than the one on emunand will SX OS even start or it will crash directly?
No one can help me? :(

Don't go downgrading to 4.1 unless you have a 4.1 NAND backup to restore to, 4.1.0 expects 5 fuse, if you have a lot higher fuse count then you won't be able to boot Sysnand. If you use Nintendo server to update you will burn your fuse. Emunand doesn't touch Sysnand after they are separated.

Try another person's build of the game, assuming you are using the correct patches with the correct bootloader.

guys, I have an SXOS modchip and use an emunand To play the pirated games, but I want to play some games online like animal crossing (I already bought the original version), if I start the Switch in the original FW, in sysnand, can I have any surprises and be banned? Or It is safe to play in an untouched sysnand? I always use emunand whit icognito and stealth mode to install games in tinfoil and play.

How the hell do I extract an NSP for an update file? I'm trying to extract the game files in an attempt to mod Pokemon Shield, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the damn NSP open. I feel like I need someone to explain to me like I'm a complete idiot what I'm missing here.

I have dumped my original game cartridge in both NSP and XCI formats, and i managed to use the dump tool to get the romfs from the base game. But then I find out that PkNx doesn't work for anything less than version 1.2.0, so I'll have to include the update files. So I dumped that to an NSP, and that's where I'm stuck. I can't seem to crack open this file and get what I need. I've tried hactool, unpack, yuzu, and a million other random things I found.

And yes, I dumped pretty much everything I could think of from my switch, including prod.keys, title.keys, the fuses, the nand, etc. No matter what I try, nothing works. I've been working on this literally all day and have accomplished precisely dick. I need a simple step by step process of exactly what I need to do to be able to mod this game in PkNx.

Hello, I've managed to get my hands on a V1 unpatched switch, and I would like to know what's THE definitive guide to install CFW.
I think the Switch is on OFW 11.x.

Most title installers support installing multiple games at once. And you actually have it the opposite way when it comes to backups. You rarely, if ever, backup the CFW files because those are readily available online. You should make a backup of your games which are stored in the Nintendo folder.
Yes boot0/1 were successful restored with raw Emmc. Whats gpp? How do I check to find that? Firmware 10.2 was backed up
The raw eMMC is the same thing as the raw eMMC GPP. Do you have a cartridge inserted into your console?

There is always a risk of a ban when going online with a hacked console. Its not a guarantee but it is also not safe.
Is it possible to sign into your Nintendo account without updating your system software
Nope.

You have to use hactool to open the .NSP file.

Hello, when OFW gets update, do I need to make new copy of NAND + boot when using atmosphere?
You don't need to.

Hi I'm using SX Core on V1 with SX OS 3.1.0 CFW on emuNAND (emuNAND FW is 11.0.0)

I want to try to play online game so I open the SX boot loader, Cleanup SX Core, then proceed to boot OFW

After that I initialized to factory reset, and got a clean sysNAND with 10.0.1 OFW,
Then I update the OFW via System Update,
The problem starts from this

After the Update, I cannot boot OFW from SX bootloader again, it just shows black screen.
Several thread in this GBAtemp said that genuine boot will do the trick but I'm afraid to do so since
it gives warning that it may burnt fuses

I have backup the sysNAND before Updating so I could try to go back but before doing that

I want to ask:
1. Did I update the OFW wrongly?
2. Do I need to dump the raw NAND now since it's the updated OFW?
3. Do I need to genuine boot from SX bootloader? What are the consequences?

Any guidance is appreciated thank you.

Everytime i insert a game cartdridge on my switch it gives the error 2002-2634 (0x149402). It's on firmware 10.1.0, and my atmosphere is on version 0.16.1. Is there anything i can do?

It happens with every game cartdridge i have—Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, Rayman Legends and Mario Odyssey.

This started after i connected the SD on my notebook, to transfer some gameplay recorded videos to it. I have done this before, and nothing happened.

Do you have nogc enabled by chance? Check your atmomsphere configs

Use it how? I already said I tried using it. HOW do I use it? Nobody ever has a straight answer, at least not one that works.
Hactool is a program that requires you to use the command prompt. The commands however are user-sensitive because they will vary based on where your key files are located, the name of the game, location of the game file, etc.
