So you have the advantage of playing directly off a USB device with XCI files.- that's just another bit of kit to lug around along with your portable console
Your argument seems to based on it shits all over SXOS users; would it be wrong to suggest that since future sales/support for SXOS seems doomed that a file format that works best with it is kind of crazy ? What does XCI offer Atmosphere [ the software this likelyo still be here in the future ] users ? Genuine question ... how do Atmos users run games off an external drive ?
I can see the small benefit in the bundling all the updates and DLC in a single file but all those files have still be downloaded at some point (either as a much large original file or as smaller individual ones). I don't see the time saving being that great.
