So just show how my sd is currently partitioned - should i delete all partitions then setup the same way or just use guiformat on a specific partition?

If there is something important on the other partitions, then take them off, and just redo the card as one whole card, would be the best bet in my optinion.

Hi Guys, I wanted to ask a little question:

The thing is: i am willing to install chiaki to play remote PS4 games (the idea of a handheld ps4 just melts me down), but my emuNAND has always been offline to prevent ban (and I have done plenty of ban-justifying stuff).

So here comes my question: If I now go online on my emuNAND, provided that I am using 90DNS/sxstealthmode, is there any “new” chance Nintendo gets me compared to being offline?
The whole point of 90DNS/Stealth Mode is to simulate a ban.

Hello, I followed NH Switch Guide to load CFW, everything works fine, I have 256GB microSD card and by followed the guide, it formatted FAT32, is there way I can change to exFAT? Thanks
No stick with FAT32 as exFAT can corrupt your SD card.

So I fully charged my NS to 100% this morning because I'm boarding a flight. 2 hours later when I'm on the plane, I tried turning on the NS and it won't turn on at all. After I got back home, apparently the reason why it won't turn on it's because it had no battery...Has this happened to anyone before? This is really weird because I'm sure the NS should be fully charged. It's running on CFW with auto RCM enabled. Could this have caused the battery to drain for some reason? (even though this rarely happens, only happened once before in my memory).
Did you charge the console while it was on or off?

Thanks again :D

If i rememer correctly it was how the guide originally said to do it, for the emummc partition i believe. I wiped just the data bit and copied over all the stuff from the 256gb card and then chose "createmmc" and then "changemmc" and it worked, however I noticed that the mario kart and snes bits were there from my sysnand as I guess the emunanad(emummc) is a copy of the sysnand.

waffling aside the most important thing i have always tried to preserve is that I can play the stuff on cfw from the card and keep a clean sysnand if I decide to go online which the setup I had never interfered with each other if that makes sense. So, im willing to wipe the card if that is still intact.

sorry to ask a lot I would just prefer to get it right

I charged it while it was on. When I unhooked the USB cable, I confirmed the charge was full, and never turned it off since.
AFAIK, the charge is really slow when the console is off and in RCM mode.
Its unlikely but its possible the battery was drained in the time after you charged it and before you got on the plane. If the console was still on after you finished charging it, then AutoRCM was not the culprit.

bad sd
You might have a damaged pin on the actual motherboard side of the microsd card connector, which I've found is the more common issue over the actual card reader itself. There are people that can repair it based on your location, however.
So it is the pins

Greetings! I have some questions I hope someone can help me with. I have a Switch that I modded with SX Pro successfully, and I got busy with other things and sat the Switch aside. I just got it back out and started working with it again. It is currently on OFW 6.1 at the moment.

1. It has a weird battery drain issue. If I disconnect it from the USB-C charger, it literally starts draining like a counter, 99-98-97....Thinking it might be a bad battery, I ordered a replacement from iFixit and replaced the battery. After replacing it, it is still doing the same thing, so it must be something with the SX OS or something else? I tried updating to SX OS 2.9.2 and that didn't correct it. Has anyone else seen this or know how I can correct it?

2. I also want to update the OFW to current, which is 10.2 as far as I can tell. Exactly how do I go about safely updating the OFW without screwing up the CFW or losing the exploit, etc? As I said above, I am on 6.1 now. I made a NAND backup and I also created an EmuNAND with SX OS. I just want to do this correctly. How does this relate to the eFuses and is there specific steps I need to take? Do I just boot into OFW from the SX Boot Menu and take it online and update it that way, or do I use a different procedure with the 10.2 firmware I have already downloaded for an offline install. I just want to keep the CFW and the capability to go online with it later if I wanted to.

Thanks! Please advise!

I dunno about the states, but I know that draconicmods based in Canada does repair them. My local mod shop wouldn't touch it because of how small it is...

Edit: you want someone who will actually replace the connector not use bodge wires.

Hello, I completed the "NH Switch Guide", I can start in normal or RCM/HB mode.
The questions I have are:

1. What mode is safe to turn on wifi?

2. what's next to get games and how to load/play.

Thanks.

  1. Try using Atmosphere instead to see if the issue persists
  2. First, the exploit is hardware-based not software based so firmware is irrelevant. Secondly, the sole purpose of fuses are for downgrading and the only reason you would care about downgrading is if a better exploit, such as an untethered coldboot, is released. If you want to update without burning fuses, you have several options such as ChoiDujourNX, Daybreak, updating in Atmosphere online with AutoRCM pre-enabled, etc, but these all carry a ban risk. If you don't care about fuses, update however you want but keep in mind that there is no benefit to burning fuses

  1. You cannot turn on Wi-Fi unless you have never run CFW/homebrew or restored a clean backup
  2. Use Awoo Installer to install any .NSP/.XCI/.NSZ files

Thanks for explaining that, I appreciate it!

As far as updating to 10.2, exactly how should I go about that? What is the best/safest way to do it? Should I boot into SX OS CFW (with EmuNand) enabled) and use ChoiDujourNX? Or is there another way I should do it?

If I also wanted to update the OFW from 6.1 to 10.2, would I just boot the original from the SX menu, or is there another cleaner/safer way to boot into OFW to reduce the risk of detection? I just don't want to update to 10.2 and then get banned by doing it.

Thanks again!

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask a question.
How is the banning thing currently? I mean, does Nintendo bans you if you play a game (not necessarily online such as Splatoon 2, but say an offline game while the console itself is connected to internet and it shows "Online" with the game you are playing to your friends.)? And assuming they still ban you, this would also apply if you buy a legit game and use pirated DLC, right? Thanks in advance!
