Hello everyone.

I've noticed something odd with Subway Surfers lately. The game starts out perfectly smooth, but after about 15–20 minutes of playing, the animations become choppy and the controls feel slightly delayed. It doesn't crash, but the lag makes it much harder to avoid obstacles and keep a high score.

I haven't installed any new apps recently, and other games on my phone run without any issues.

Could this be related to overheating, a recent game update, or a hidden performance setting? I'm curious if other players have experienced the same thing and found a reliable fix.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance for any help

Does it happen with the official Google Play version for you?

My first guess was overheating but since you're using a 3rd party apk, I could also see it being a laundry-list of other problems including: Added un-optimized code, added crypto-miners, added anything.
