I create MediCat USB on a spare SSD I have in a SATA to USB 3.0 enclosure. It's pretty fast, and it's 240GB.

I use my computers until they are completely dead so my newest machine has Windows 7 on it and barely meets Medicat requirements.

Hey Jayro, thanks again for all of the work!

I used ImageUSB as instructed, and after the file is written and verified, the partitioning structure on my 128GB Samsung USB 3.1 drive is all messed up. It shows only two partitions, one that is 24GB and the other is very small. This is a 128GB drive, so there should be another 100+ left. Any chance you know a setting in IMGUSB to fix the partitioning issue so I can use the remainder?

I want to install Windows 10 from my thumb drive (I think you mentioned there is a method if I put the ISO file in the bootable OS folder) however there is not enough space on my drive because of the partitioning glitch.

Thanks again!!

You have to open MiniTool Partition Wizard and move the small partition to the far right. Then extend the NTFS partition to fill the drive. MiniTool partition wizard is in the PortableApps or Programs folder.

Hello
just joined this site to say thank you for Medicat
I have used it a few times and this latest version looks expandable with the Ventoy bootloader
Thank you

I'll be adding a well-rounded set of 68 Ransomware decryption tools to the next release.

@Jayro

Hi,

Would be possible and somehow useful to contact Ventoy's Team and explain about MediCat and Partition modification needings to find an easy or better way for partition size modification within Ventoy itself?

Thank you

I'm not sure how to get a hold of Longpanda.

The new MediCat USB v20.09 is ready on Torrent:

The rest of the files are Uploading to Google Drive next. After that will me Mega, and the Mega mirror. (This takes me many hours to upload, so please be patient.) ^_^

Would you please update the magnet link? it is giving me previous version. Mega website is down.

Hi Medicat, this is a fantastic USB tool! Thank you for all your efforts in creating it...

I have a question which may have been asked already so I apologise, if I burn this image file to a 64GB memory stick what's the best method to utilise all of the drive space? I tried using Minitool Partition Wizard to expand the partition and use the unused space but after a reboot into the Windows 10 desktop the Y: drive doesn't seem to mount.

Thanks in advance.

Kris

I've never had that happen before. And MiniTool Partition Wizard is definitely the way to go.
