1.) Drop your ISO images for Win 7 and Win 10 into the "OSimages" folder.
2.) Boot Mini Windows 10.
3.) Open the start menu, and navigate to Programs > Install & Repair Windows and open Step 1. Then open Step 2, and follow Step 1's instructions to help you finish it up.

Due to the French HADOPI law restricting P2P downloads, and being that majority of the file downloaders are from France, I've decided to create a 2nd MEGA upload on the first page, which mirrors the first. I'll even make a 2nd mirror, if it ever becomes necessary.

Hopefully this will help ease the download limitations a little bit.

1) Can I boot MediCat from this external HDD partition?
2) Are all utilities (in MediCat) going to work if I use this external HDD partition?
3) How can I make MediCat work from this external hdd partition? I'm not an expert. If possible, please I would like a tutorial for newbies (Windows 10).

I apologize in advance if my questions are already asked/answered before. This forum has 110 pages, and I can't read all of them.

Yes, many of the bootable partition tools will do that, non-destructively.

i know you dont accept donations.. but maybe setup an amazon list (or something like that) that has the usb drive you want to give away to people, that way you can give away usb drive that people donate.

I still want to use my external HDD partition as a bootable rescue disc, full of utilities, emergency tools etc. Please, can you inform me where I can find something like this for Windows? And please, where I can find a tutorial to install that in my external HDD?

Is the Win10PE portion no longer offered as a separate ISO? I used to download that and pair it with a tool from the bobomb W10PE that made it so the drive would boot even on systems with SecureBoot enabled. I realize my use-case is niche because of that, and do not expect a separate upload just for me, but wondering if its gone for good.

I work out of a PC Repair Shop and have found Medicat to be very useful btw, so thank you very much - If we ever cross paths I owe you a drink or two!

I could with any other similar tool but it's an IMG file, I'd rather not convert to ISO and mount, it's glitchy.

Medicat USB already includes a mini version of Windows 10. Dual booting with an extra version of Windows 10 would need you to have a bigger usb flash drive so not only it would be slow as molasses but it would also be redundant.

By personal experience booting from any USB Flash drive or SD card that's bigger than 32 GB is quite slow. Even Puppy Linux slows down a lot and it basically loads the whole OS in the RAM.

I create MediCat USB on a spare SSD I have in a SATA to USB 3.0 enclosure. It's pretty fast, and it's 240GB.

depends on the type of flash drive
I use MediCat on a Sandisk Extreme 64GB and it goes like lightning (I just installed W10 in just ten minutes)

Does this include memtest86 and if not is there an easy way to add it? I managed to get it to run in virtualbox but I didn't see memtest86 anywhere but that could be because I was unable to get it to boot in EFI mode and had to boot it in BIOS mode.

Yes, Memtest86 8.3 Pro is on here. You boot to the main menu, and it's under Diagnostic Tools.

Ok, well I don't see it. Does that menu option only exist when booted in EFI mode?

I thin you need to scroll down, but yes it requires UEFI.
