So snemulds doesn't work very good if you don't know or haven't seen it. and the thing I don't understand is that jensisDS could run flawlessly on DS with most if not all genesis games. I know that the genesis and snes are different in terms of power but not different enough that almost nothing can run on snemulds and everything can run on jenesisds. Now I don't have a lot of programming experience especially not with emulators but wouldn't it be pretty easy for someone who does have that knowledge to either work off of snemulds or continue work on snemulds? Just wondering.

Except to use an Supercard/DSTWO (Plus) Flashcard there is no better or 100 Percent SNES Emulation on the DS/DSi.

@Robz8 has "optimized" the SNES Emulator SNEmulDS to use with his TWiLight Menu.
The Emulation is very good and accurate but not 100 Percent of Course.:)

Thank you.:)

It's because of the enhancement chips added to games like Super Mario RPG, Kirby Superstar, Starfox etc. It would be difficult to emulate them on a DS unless you have more additional RAM.

Yes, that is why the emulation is better on the DStwo, because it has additional ram and cpu. But recently I was wondering (as a certified nintendo ds nerd) if it is possible to emulate a virtual ram on the DSi XL (due to its better hardware) to run these games. Think about that, the latest version of SnemulDS dates to 2007 (If we exclude the revival and the modified versions made by @RocketRobz) and from than the emulation has done giant steps ahead. I really believe that if someone in this world has the dedication to make a better SNES emulator for DS, at least 90% of the games would run perfectly on the DSi.

Why not start a new thread instead of bumping one that's three years old!?

I don't know what make you think "emulate a virtual ram" has anything to do with speed, but you can do that with TWiLight Menu.

TWiLight Menu will also let you run DS software at the faster clock speed of the DSi, which is probably what you're actually interested in doing. I think the built-in SNES emulator already runs at DSi speed.

Yes, I was thinking about creating a new thread, and I will, but I saw this one and I thought to comment on this just to be sure that what I was thinking was not craziness because I'm not a coder and I don't know anything about software in general (some day I probably will, I'm only 18). Now after your reply I think I will create the new thread today.

Also, I probably wasn't expressing in the correct way. By "emulating virtual ram" I meant emulating the enchantment chips built in the cardtriges (that would probably be possible if a part of the DSi ram is used to emulate them).

It runs at the standard DS speed, due to the DSi speed causing audio desyncs.
