Hardware I'm Thinking of getting a new monitor

I'm thinking of buying a new monitor and came across this one, any opinions on it?

I also saw this one, but I saw reports of ghosting issues and I have a Nvidia so Freesync is limited AFAIK:

How far are you going to sit from it? I work with a 27" one and that thing is massive.

Or you want to a have additional COVID19 fail safe in case someone coughs or sneezes in front of you?

Both of those monitors actually have pretty awful ghosting, I wouldn't personally choose either TBH.

Is your budget £300, or could you push a bit more? Does it need to be curved? Does it need to be 32", or is something like 27" fine? Do you care if it has HDR?

I’ve not seen a curved monitor before and wanted an upgrade from my current 24”, I was going to look at one today or tomorrow to get an idea.

If it is too big then yes I’ll look to a 27”, which coincidentally increases my options.

If it has bad ghosting then I’ll leave it.

My preferred budget is around £300-400, it doesn’t need to be curved or 32” if it is too big, but I definitely want 1440p+ and high refresh rate, within this budget I’m not expecting HDR.

I’ll look around to see which other models there are.
