Greetings !

quite not long ago I started playing modded games on my flashed XBox 360 and burned some games successfully .
Except of Forza Motorsport 4 which cost me 8 DVDs...
Now I've run into another problem : as I patch the isos with abgx360 , which tells me that everything is right except of verification , afterwards it says "AutoFix failed , Stealth is still unverified" .
And as I put it into the X360's drive it starts making weird noises followed by an "unrecognized disc" .
As I've seen in @DinohScene 's Guide , he said that Verification is not important , but i don‘t know whether it's the slimline drive of the laptop which f*cks up burning XGD3's or is it really the Verification .
Now I wanna burn a XGD2 iso (those are the ones the laptop burns properly) , with unverified Xex/SS combination , and i don‘t know whether I should try burning it .
So is Verification decisive for the failing iso's ??

SplitVid is the portion you can forget about, it's a outdated way of stealthing on the ancient iXtreme firmwares.
Unverified xex/SS combo can result in a booting game (if it's a home rip that's not in the database) or a coaster disc that'll have problems.
Everything other then SplitVid should be green if you want a properly patched ISO.

I've successfully burned XGD2 ISOs on me laptops DVD drive when I still had it but I'd recommend investing in a iHAS or Burner Max Payload compatible drive.

afaik, at least with ss version, the unverified and measured vertices are almost always the same. at least that was true with xgd2... I don't know about the game not booting exactly, but I think that whenever I burned a disc that was unverified, the game still worked.

Mine doesn’t for some reason
Basic Stealth fails , verification does as well and it can’t find a replacement data for the corrupted.

corrupted download? in the early days of 360 hacking, some games had no stealth verification or it would take a long time, sometimes over a month to get one verified. I'm not sure what's involved, but it's a security sector vector that's verified from the actual disc. it sounds very complicated, and I'm not sure how it's done.

Here I’ve tried burning an XGD3 , which abgx told me was in perfect condition , but at a time it went into power-saving mode , 10 secs later I turned it back on .
Is it a programming error or because of my fault ?
I guess for further burning I’m gonna buy an external burner...I’m done wasting DVD’s for nonsense

I don't know. I've never seen that error before, but I've also never burned an xgd3. be careful with externals. I once bought a bluray burner, and I had to use a y cable for it. it would still periodically disconnect on my laptop only. it didn't have issues on my parents' lenovo system. I'm going with lenovo for my next laptop over shitty dell.

I’ve only one DVD left and don’t know whether to burn it again or not...
I burned an XGD3 and it’s going well , but other XGD3’s die like this one .
@DinohScene what can you say ?
My dad has a Lenovo which I’m using and having a lot of burning problems...it’s a G50-45 , so not a beast under the laptop market

I wouldn't waste it. just get a new spindle and wait for that new drive. I once wasted over 10 discs burning dino crisis for the psx for my ps2 'til I learned it had modchip protection. I patched it after a lot of tinkering, and it now works.
